Blogcritics On Best Album Lists - Meat and Poison

Despite, or because of, their ultimate subjectivity and sand castle substantiality, rankings of such musical units as albums, guitar players, songs and album covers draw a vast amount of attention and heated debate: one man's meat is another's poison.

And I threw in some older, similarly quixotic album lists for good measure.

EO -- I feel you on the annotations. I got to 50, feeling I only barely scratched the surface of each, and almost despaired at the thought of the finishing. Then, sanity took hold and I just mailed in 51-100.
