Blogcritics News: New Music Feature - Band Of The Week

Part of: Band of the Week

Calling all unsigned bands! Beginning tomorrow (Friday July 28th 2006) Blogcritics Music will have a new weekly feature – Band of the Week. We will be featuring a different (preferably unsigned) band every week. We will run an interview article and a review of their most recent album or EP's/singles. The band will stay on the front page of the music section of Blogcritics.org and we will link to where ever it is you can pick up their music.

But we need bands! We have enough for the first few weeks but we will be featuring a band a week and over the year that's 52 bands! If you know of, or are part of, an indie band contact us! The only requirements are - you are Indie (independent), — unsigned or signed on a VERY small label — that you have an EP or album that can be reviewed and that you and your band are willing to be interviewed by us.

Just email the Assistant Music Editor, A.L. Harper with the details of the band and where we can hear a sample of your music, i.e. MySpace or a band website. We will also need some bio information on the band and a digital photo no larger than 125 x 125. We will contact you, if you have been successful, within a week (hopefully).

So if you have heard a really great band and thought to yourself “Why aren't they signed” or “Wow they should be huge” then let us know who they are.

It's in your hands now!
