Billy Bob Thornton attacks music industry

Do you remember Billy Bob Thornton's Private Radio album from a few years ago? No? That may be because, according to Billy Bob himself, the music industry did their damnedest to kill the thing.

He says, "When some singer who sucks wants to do a movie, that's cool, but if an actor wants to make a record he gets crucified.
"That's because music business people are snobs. They're creepy. They're such a**holes that they never want to be on your side."

Quite how and why he thinks film industry people should necessarily be considered any better than music industry people is not explained. The possibility that the album may have been crap (if the love song to la jolie Angelina I heard was indicative, it may well have been so) is also not entertained.
