Taylor Swift has become country's teen sweetheart. The country singer and songwriter is signed to Big Machine Records, who also signed singers like Trisha Yearwood, Jack Ingram, and Jimmy Wayne. Her hits include: “Teardrops of my Guitar,” “Our Song,” “Picture to Burn,” “Should've Said No,” and “Tim McGraw.” Her first album, Taylor Swift, debuted in 2006 and has sold over 3 million copies.
Taylor's newest album, Fearless is due out November 11. It's sure to be a hit. Some of the songs off the new album are “Change” and “Fearless.”
Before rejoining Rascal Flatts (“What Hurts the Most”) on their “Bob That Head” tour on September 11, Taylor headed to the UK for her first international show. The London show was completely sold out. The September 3 show was only an hour and fifteen minutes, but a success.
Today (September 7) at 8PM, Taylor will host MTV's VMA Awards in Los Angeles, California. Taylor is not only hosting, but she's up for the Best New Artist award. The next day (September 8) Taylor co-hosts and performs at the Country Music Festival - Country's Night to Rock on ABC at 9PM ET. She co-hosts with Kellie Pickler (“Things That Never Crossed a Man's Mind”) and Julianne Hough (Dancing With The Stars). Those attending include: Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Bucky Covington, Billy Ray Cyrus, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Dwight Yoakam, and more. On September 10, Taylor will announce with Rascal Flatts the rest of the nominees for the CMA on Good Morning America.
Look for her in this week's issues of US Weekly and People Magazine. She was also on the cover of the June issue of Seventeen.

It's not the CMA music awards, it's the ABC Special: "CMA Music Festival - Country's Night to Rock" which is footage from the CMA festival earlier this year in Nashville.
Was Taylor discovered on MySpace? This is the first I've heard that. What evidence do you have? Word I have is that her family gave up their Christmas Tree farm in Pennsylvania to move to Nashville so she could pursue her music career. She was discovered performing at the Bluebird Café by Scott Borchetta, head of newly formed "Big Machine Records".
