If you were a professional critic you wouldn't have made a statement so dull as " far less talented stars, such as Mariah Carey, will do everything possible to emulate this song." You obviously haven't done your research. Irreplaceable is a cheap rip off of We Belong Together. Beyonce has talent but let's call things what they are. Mariah inspirired...Christina,Jessica,Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce......I'm amazed at this generations lack of musical history. Beyonce just got caught stealing a song and was forced to withdraw Bday. And must I list the songs she also didnt write but of course gave herself a songwriting credit: Crazy in Love (she wrote the bridge and won a grammy), Listen (Golden Globes left her out of the nomination because they knew she didnt contribute to the song and instead nominated the 3 other writers), Irreplaceable (Neyo wrote all the lyrics, Bey did the harmony), Resentment (was already an original song and previously recorded by Victoria Beckham, Bey added a few words and gave herself a songwriting credit), Beautiful Liar (Amanda Ghost wrote this song in 24 hrs in the back of a taxi cab, Bey recorded in the studio the next day, and still gave herslef the songwriting credit), Kissing You (Original song by Des'ree, Bey changed the title and gave herself a songwriting credit... she lists her name first on the credits, the nerve of her!)... thats just a few songs recently, who knows how many more. Beyonce is so unoriginal and obviously beyond over-rated. Dont fall for the hype around her. She's a fake and a poser who likes to claim songs as her own.

It's obvious that the people commenting on this blog are either stupid, delusional, young, or just plain blind. Beyonce is NOT the most talented female artist of all time. When you say "female artist of all time" that doesn't fit Beyonce at all! There is Reba McIntyre, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey (of course), Whitney Houston, Cher, Donna Summer, Gladys Knight...and the list goes on. Writing your own songs and being ORIGINAL makes you talent. So many people are so blinded by the artists today. Most of you have forgotten about Aretha Franklin and people back in the day. THESE people set the way for the so-called "best artists" today. Comparing her to Mariah? Yeah you're on crack. Just because you win a lot of awards doesn't mean you earned them. Stealing others music and calling it your own? Yeah you young and uneducated ones wouldn't know anything about that because you don't KNOW where the song came from and who it originally belongs to. Most or all artists have haters, but people on here are not "hating" on her because she steals music, makes false statements, etc. They are doing nothing more than telling the truth. Whoever wrote this-writing is not for you. Get a life. I'm not hating on her, either, but her talent is limited. Live with it and get over it.
