Beach Boys to reissue Pet Sounds
The Beach Boys will be reissuing Pet Sounds in honor of its 40th anniversary. The reissue will contain DVD footage and previously unreleased materials. The album will contain 27 tracks including bonus tracks “Hang on to your Ego” and “I Know There is an Answer.” The reissue will be released on August 28th.
Coca-Cola partners with iTunes in Europe
Apple and Coca-Cola have teamed up to give away 70 million free songs, mostly in the UK. Coca-Cola will be putting song codes in packs of Coca-Cola and Diet Coke, which can be redeemed for tracks at the iTunes store. Coca-Cola will be doing a similar promotion in Germany, giving away free songs as well as iPods.
Google has struck a deal with XM Satellite radio which gives Google advertisers a way to reach XM’s subscriber base. The deal will help Google advertisers to insert their ads into XM’s nonmusic channels. Google’s AdWords customers will be able to place radio spots with its dMarc media network.

So I thought that Pet Sounds boxed set a few years back was exhaustive--maybe too much of I good thing with every conceivable variation on the theme, etc. I can't imagine what other unreleased tracks there could be, but the DVD sounds intriguing.
