The BC Goodie Bag is returning to the pages of Blogcritics.org and I'm happy to be taking over the reins from Anna Creech who has left awful big shoes for the other editors and I will try and fill. Once to twice a week I will continue to bring BC Music's readers a sneak peak at what's new and what's coming in music. It is also my hope to dig around the web and bring you something new you might not have seen or heard otherwise.
In this week's version of BC Music Goodie Bag we have streaming audio and embedded videos from Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis, Miranda Cosgrove, Eric Himan, KaiserCartel, Brett Michaels, and music from The Love Guru Soundtrack.
Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis
On July 8, 2008, you will be able to purchase Two Men with the Blues from Willie Nelson & Wynton Marsalis, but here at BC Music Goody Bag, we have a sneak peak for you. Take a listen to three songs from the upcoming album.
It may seem like an odd combination at first, one country icon matched up with a jazz legend, but the result is something quite interesting. The songs included on Two Men with the Blues were recorded at a concert performance in January of 2007 at the Lincoln Center.
