AC/DC - Black Ice
The lead single from AC/DC's latest is "Rock and Roll Train" and can be streamed at their website.

Black Ice is the first album from the band in eight years. It will be released October 20 and will boast fifteen tracks. The album was produced by Brendan O’Brien and can be preordered at their website and through Walmart, who have the retail exclusive for the release.

The video for "Rock and Roll Train" is set to release early next month and you can be sure the Goodie Bag will have it right here when it does.

Spylacopa – "Bloodletting"
Spylacopa is a new studio project for John LaMacchia (Candiria), Jeff Caxide (Isis), Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Julie Christmas (Made Out of Babies / Battle of Mice) and they have released the first single from an upcoming five song EP. "Bloodletting" can be streamed from the band's MySpace profile.

John LaMacchia comments on the song, "The song 'Bloodletting' was originally written by Greg Puciato. When I heard the demo of the song I was blown away by the chorus. There were all these vocal layers of just screams that sounded like dying banshees. It was an inspiring new step forward for Spylacopa because before this the music we were writing for the project was based mostly on experimental ideas and sounds and a more unorthodox style of writing."

LaMacchia put Spylacopa together in 2000 as a way to work on his experimental and hypnotic compositions. It was long however before all participants realized this was going to be more than just a side project. Their first release was Collective Unconscious on the C.O.M.A. label. In 2005, after some line up changes that included the addition of Greg Pucilato and Julie Christmas, they began work on this soon-to-be released, self-titled EP.
