Part of: BC Music Goodie Bag

Another week has passed, and we have another virtual grab-bag of audio and video musical treats for you here at the BC Music Goodie Bag.

We have more from Emmylou Harris as she sits down and talks about her new album and plays acoustically for your viewing and listening pleasure. We also have tidbits from the just released albums by Teddy Thompson and Coldplay. To round it all up, we have previews of forthcoming releases from Kerli, Lady Gaga, and PAS/CAL.

Emmylou Harris
Last week we featured the streaming audio of "Hold On" from Emmylou Harris' new album All I Intended to Be in the spotlight section as Goodbag Bonus clip. But the buzz keeps circling the net about the great new album, including a review from our own Donald Gibson.

The Barnes and Noble Studio, the new media site from Barnes and Noble, has been featuring a clip with Emmylou Harris in which she talks about the new album and plays acoustically.

Now, BC Music has the clip right here on these pages for your viewing pleasure.

One on One with Emmylou Harris:

Teddy Thompson – "In My Arms"
This past Tuesday, June 17, Teddy Thompson released his new album, A Piece Of What You Need. The 11 song compilation is best described by Teddy himself, "Well, maybe not happy, but upbeat. Actually, maybe not upbeat, but it does have some up-tempo songs! Anyway, it's as close as I've gotten to making the record I've always wanted to make."

The single, "In My Arms" lives up to that fun and upbeat description, complete with handclaps.

If you get the chance, check out Teddy Thompson at one of his upcoming live dates:
Jun 27 - Bristol, UK - Fiddler's Club
Jun 28 - Pilton, UK - Glastonbury Festival Q Magazine Stage
Jul 5 - London, UK - Kenwood House opening for Rufus Wainwright
Jul 8 - Solana Beach, CA - Belly Up Tavern
Jul 9 - Los Angeles, CA - Coronet Theater
