According to an article in the LA Times (www.latimes.com) entitled You Realize You're Homeless, former GREAT WHITE drummer AUDIE DESBROW has lost his home in the recent wildfire outbreaks that have been plaguing California. An excerpt from the article reads: "A few blocks away, Audie Desbrow, 46, formerly the drummer for the rock band Great White, surveyed his devastated home. Gone was the recording studio along with hundreds of CDs, music industry awards Ñ everything he owned. Wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt, Desbrow summed up his losses: "All I got's what I have on." More on this as it becomes available.
Upon hearing the news that former GREAT WHITE drummer Audie Desbrow lost his home in the recent wildfire outbreaks that have been plaguing California, former QUIET RIOT drummer FRANKIE BANALI has offered his assistance in the tragedy. In an open letter to BW&BK, Banali states the following: "I've just heard the terrible news of Audie Desbrow's loss due to the Southern California fires. I have no way of knowing how to reach him, but if you do, please provide me with that information or give him my e-mail address (via my site www.frankiebanali.com). I will be happy to immediately provide him with one of my drum sets, cymbals, hardware and anything else that may be of help for as long as he may need it. The fires were quarter of a mile from my own home and I am grateful that we were spared but so sorry to hear of his loss as well as so many others. Thanks, Frankie Banali"

Talkin' bout irony. Part of that is Audie Desbrow will probably feel his own loss far more than he did the losses that accrued to the people in the nightclub fire because most people are pretty selfish. A house versus all those lives is small potatoes, but. . . .
