A shredding waste of time...!

Let it Go/Water of Life
Slav Simanic
(Frontiers)

Slav seems to be yet another guitarist who thinks he can be Joe Satriani or Steve Vai. Unlike either of these two men, Slav cannot release a decent solo album to save his life. Both LiG & WoL are Christian themed aural torture sessions. There is nothing of any worth on either of these two discs worth mentioning. They are for lack a better word: bollocks. None of the tunes are interesting or catchy, just extended excuses for guitar wanking, even the ones with vocals. Unless you are fan of the man or want to buy it for its strong Christian message, avoid this like the plague. To be fair, you do get two whole CDs of this stuff, so its good value for money.
