Earlier tonight, 50 Cent dissed his new artist Game on the radio and kicked him out of G-Unit for disloyalty. Later, at the Hot 97 radio station where 50 Cent was being interviewed there was a shootout that injured one person.
The man shot is unidentified, and there's no word on if this was related to the friction with Game (I personally doubt that it is). I hope that the media doesn't stretch and speculate further than the facts, but the weird thing is I'm sure anyone making money on/with Game and 50 are probably hoping for the opposite. Drama like this is perfect promotion for both of their new, gangsta heavy albums.

UPDATE: A bit more info from SOHH, the first news site to put the two pieces together. According to their report, dude shot is 50's bodyguard. And the rumors are coming in this was over the disses about Game. However, 50 has made many enemies in New York recently with a battle song attacking Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Nas, and once again Ja Rule.
UPDATE: I remember that Funk Master Flex, who interviewed 50 Cent tonight also did an interview with him weeks ago about the new diss record I mentioned above. Flex said he decided not to play the record because it might stir up more violence in hip-hop. Seems like dude flip-flopped tonight, and low and behold, violence broke out.
