Many of you have heard of Toby Love. Either you've heard him on the radio or you've seen his videos on TV. Well out comes his first full fledged self titled CD. My friends at Sony Latino (Shout out to Lorem and Diana) sent me his CD for me to peep and I was so impressed by this young talent.
I give a big "boooooooo" to the intro because of the sooo sooo overused Scarface scenarios. They threw me off for 24 seconds, but then in comes the "Tengo Un Amor" tune. This should be recognizable to many. I believe it was the lead single. This track is gracious and smooth.
Oh and don't forget about the "Stripper Pole" banger.
The album is dictated by different moods and emotions. The a-typical Spanglish is upon us, and Toby Love makes it look easy and flawless. The 15 track album is filled with tunes that will have you vibing for the entire length of the album.
"We Got It (cadillacs)," features Voltio whose range is a more down south R&B groove and is well implemented. There are also a bunch of other tracks on the album that are standouts to me. Including: Tengo Un Amor, Morir Amando, We Got it, Stripper Pole, Gotta Let you Go.
