One half of the Cali Agents (Planet Asia & Rasco); Planet Asia is back with his new album entitled The Medicine dropping October 3rd 2006. This album is straight Hip-Hop. With plenty of Boom-Bap beats and fire lyrics, this is one of those under-rated albums you will come across a year later and be mad you didn't listen to it earlier.

His genius plan was to drop "The Medi-Cali Trilogy" upon the world in 2006.  The three part series began with The Sickness, followed by The Diagnosis and now the last of the trilogy The Medicine.

Planet Asia delivers as anticipated. The album is produced by Evidence, and it seems that they mesh very well together. To me the album meshes a little underground hiphop ala Co-Flow. Listen to what he is saying and you can see why he is one of the best lyricists in the game.

He is not a newcomer to the game, after a couple of albums under his belt, and countless collaboration with some of today's best artists; including but not limited to: Black Thought, BT, Talib Kweli and Ghostface Killah. Planet Asia was even nominated for a 2002 Grammy Award for his collaboration with hip-hop diva Mystic on W.

Look out for this album to hit stores on October 3rd 2006 and the New Planet Asia DVD Don't Get it F*cked Up! set to be released on November 7th 2006.
