Music Review: Indigo King – ‘Ruff Patch’ (Single)

Emerging New York-based psych-rock band Indigo King has recently released its debut single “Ruff Patch” via all online music stores and streaming platforms. The single is the first off of the band’s upcoming inaugural album, to be released later this year. Indigo King has started to build a buzz in NYC through a series of live shows, including a set on the main stage of the Pleasantville Music Festival this past July.

“Ruff Patch” employs driving drums and a killer bassline to go along with colluding vocals by Indigo King’s multiple singers. The band said they chose the song as the initial single because of its high energy and great response at shows.
