Continued focus is one character deficient in a good many young people these days. Ask them about their life goals and you’d be amazed at their frivolous responses.Money and more money is often the number one goal. And their profanity doesn’t end there.

With the allure of the entertainment industry constantly dangling “multifaceted carrots” to tempt these young people from pursuing conventional careers, who can blame the young people. They are offered quick and legitimate alternatives to stardom through variety of singing competitions and get-rich-quick gambling shows. Meanwhile there are those whose life ambition have been warped around substance abuse, oftentimes not willy-nilly. Such is the story of Dillon Chase though he eventually opted for a different path.

This Southern christian rapper came from the brink of a life destined for struggle and penury. Despite the stigma of having his parents as druggies; he chose to chart a different course putting every piece of his life together through the help of God.

Dillon, a credible member of the 116 Clique music group steps out against all odds with his album, The Pursuit. With collaborations from Sho’ Baraka, Tedashil, Dre Snr, and more, Dillon attempts to stands out with a focus, which is reaching out as a street evangelist to those still stuck out in the rut. Dwelling on cogent social issues with deep meaningful lyrics, he oozes his own personal style of melodic rhythms, contemporary twists, and personal testimony.

The Pursuit takes audience through a journey on how to focus on God, with every unfolding track. He encourages others on how he daily strives to be a better person to both family, community; by making God The Pursuit of his life..
