Our never-ending search to find undiscovered artists has lead us to band who rocks like no other. Better strap yourself in if you want to hang with Tampa Florida based Basic Rock Outfit (B.R.O.). These guys are the hardest working band in Florida with six shows a week. Their never ending thirst for performing and unending talent is what makes this group worth listening to.

Basic Rock OutfitLead singer Jeremy Thomas had the vision for the band bringing together Jason Gaines (Bass Guitar), Joe Sanders (Guitar), and Mike Chilton (Drums). Their sound is a new brand of rock and roll, mixed with classic rock sound. Jeremy has an incredible voice with a raspy sound that works great in heart pumping rock jams as well as your basic rock  ballads. These guys look and sound like the real deal.

Their CD Thank You For The Pain was released in July of 2007 on Tightnotes Inc. Records.  The band has toured continuously since then promoting the album at venues all over the southeast. The album features 12 great songs and B.R.O. will take you on their musical journey, with cool lyrics about the basics of life, loss, and love, with of course their own B.R.O. twists.

"Alabama" is an addictive ballad, with great lyrics leading about what-else?  "Love". This tune is a guaranteed hit with me at least. "Shell" is a little bit more rebellious rock song, that gets you up on the dance floor. "Tidal Wave" is my favorite of their songs. It kind of feels like a tidal wave as it builds to a great finish. The raspy sound of Jeremy's voice on this is top shelf.

The new world of the internet has made it easier for bands to self-promote and develop a following. Nobody does it better than these guys and one visit to their MySpace page will show you that. They have thousands of friends and they work the networking system. They are constantly posting pics, comments, bulletins, blogs, whatever. They don't miss a chance to promote their music and why not. These guys are the bomb.

Be sure to give our B.R.O. a listen. As always, be sure to support these artists by buying their music, seeing their shows, and spreading the word.
