It is here. The day has finally come. The day that sent millions upon millions of Harry Potter fans to the movie theaters around the world dressed in capes, wizard hats, and Gryffindor attire just to shed their tears for the final time for the epic film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

The film stars the original cast members, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Three young adults that started an adventure over a decade ago that will play in families’ homes for a lifetime. The film, which is of course based on J.K. Rowling’s book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, centers on destroying the last few horcruxes in order to defeat ‘he who must not be named’ otherwise known as Lord Voldemort. Can Harry and friends destroy the horcruxes and save the world from Lord Voldemort or will Lord Voldemort beat him to it, and destroy everything they’ve worked for, for the last 7 years??

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2  is truly amazing. It is an action-packed adventure from beginning to end. This film, is the most touching of all the films. There are beautiful flashback scenes from the kids’ days at Hogwarts, and a poignant ending. The acting in this film was brilliant. The actors have been in these roles for so long, it’s hard to think of them as anyone but their characters. They’re brave, dedicated and will fight to save Harry and their world.

Having not read the book, the film was still astounding. To think that one woman created an entire world filled with detailed characters, side stories and romances is truly mind-boggling. The plot was to the point and there was never a dull moment. Nothing was confusing or not understandable. The action was awesome, and the special effects were great as well. It’s sad to see such a remarkable story, which has been loved by so many readers, coming to a pleasing end.

A timeless battle between good and evil, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is highly recommended to fans of the books and previous films, also to people who love a tale about two courageous friends fighting to save their best friend.
