A doctor (Bullock) forced to move from her beloved lake house receives a letter from the new tenant (Reeves), but is shocked when the postmark reveals that he actually lived there two years prior to her. Something weird is up, or that’s one lazy postman.
In this remake of Lee Hyun-seung’s acclaimed Korean romance Il Mare, Keanu and Sandra team up for the first time since Speed and once again, fall in love. But here, it’s a wrinkle in time — and not Dennis Hopper — that’s toying with their emotions. Our advice: Just keep the lake house above 50 mph and there’s hope.
[ADBLOCKHERE]I’m excited to see Sandra return to her romantic roots, and it’ll be interesting to see the chemistry between these two yet again, as we saw in the 90s thriller Speed. Watching the trailer, the concept looks somewhat lukewarm, but considering the original film is beloved, I’m sure these two will make it worth watching.
