Welcome back to the Movie Media column, featuring trailers, posters, and clips for upcoming films. Some are nice and fresh and some aren’t. However, they all have something in common: for better or worse, they all caught my attention. If there is a poster or trailer you think I should check out, be sure to let me know.

This week’s movie goodies include posters, trailers, and stills for some feature films and even a couple of behind-the-scenes clips! Hopefully, you’ll enjoy taking a gander!

The Lucky Ones – Trailer

This movie looks like it could be good, but it also looks like it could be manipulative. Its story centers on a trio of soldiers, just returned to the States, who are forced to travel together to their various destinations. Along the way they learn more about themselves and each other as they become the closest thing to a family they have. The movie is directed by Neil Burger and stars Tim Robbins, Rachel McAdams (been wondering where she’s been), and Michael Pena.

Full Moon – Charles Band’s Vidcast

Charles Band is a heck of a guy. Whether you like the movies he produces or not, there is no denying the enthusiasm with which he approaches everything. I have met him a couple of times and he is a very nice guy, easy to approach and always ready with a story. Here is the latest update from Full Moon, he tells of the latest replica for sale, upcoming films, and uncovered rarities that are now up for sale.

Twilight – Stills, Poster, Trailers

This upcoming vampire flick has had its release date moved up from December 12 to November 21st. I guess they think it will do a better job through the Thanksgiving holiday rather than facing off against The Day the Earth Stood Still. It also doesn’t hurt that Harry Potter was pushed to next summer. Below are a few stills along with updated trailers and poster.

V for Vendetta – For Dummies

It seems that the flowery language used in V for Vendetta has been deemed confusing, unnecessary, and superfluous. To help those out who don;t feel like figuring it out, some kind soul has done a fine job of subtitling a portion of the film in the more common vernacular. Nicely done.

The Intervention – Poster

I have no idea what the movie is about, although I could take a guess. The reason I wanted to share this with you is because this poster is awesome. I just love the look of it.

Puppet Master – Killer Clip

You either love Full Moon’s movies, or you don’t. There is not much in between. You have to admit that Charles Band’s ability to produce movies with budgets less than a typical trip to the theater is quite amazing, and the enthusiasm with which he approaches the work is downright infectious. In this clip from one of the Puppet Master films has the puppets’ creator ordering them to kill a couple of cops.

Saw V – Opening Scene

The opening scene for the latest Saw entry is here. Want to take a peek? Will the movie be any good? I cannot say that I have high hopes of it being good, I do, however, expect to be entertained.

Ghoulies II – Feature

How can you not love the Ghoulies? In this sequel, the creepy critters invade a carnival just in time to deliver a scream of a time for the visiting teenagers.

Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist – Trailer, Poster

Taking a look at the soundtrack for this flick,d I see songs and artists that I do not have much interest in. It is not that I don’t like them, I just have no interest. However, when I see the trailer, I cannot wait. I like Michael Cera and Kat Dennings has impressed in the couple of roles I’ve seen her in. Together it looks like they are having a lot of fun, which is what I expect from this movie.
