Microsoft has released at updated version of its wireless optical mouse. The updated mouse is built with high defintion technology and promises better tracking over uneven surfaces and at least six months of battery life. It also has plans to introduce two more mice, a laser mouse and an optical mouse, designed for desktop users.
New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has attacked the FCC for taking actions that are sabotaging his investigation into Payola. The FCC is allegedly attempting to make deals with radio comglomerates that would be in the neighborhood of $1 million dollars in fines. The New York Attorney General’s office has considered seeking fines much higher. Last December Warner Music attempted to illegal practices and agreed to $5 million in fines because of Spitzer’s investigations.
Madonna is set to go on a world tour in support of the CD she released in November Confessions on a Dance Floor. Although it has been rumored that the “Confessions Tour” would take place in smaller venues as compared to Madonna’s previous tours, it will be in stadiums and arenas. Tour dates are currently scheduled through September 3rd, although it is expected that further dates will be added.
