John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley. The autopsies of such legends should have been the most painstaking and impartial. But there appears to be substantial evidence to the contrary in these historic cases and others. Could the autopsy of Michael Jackson be the same?

The full report has not yet been publicized by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner, Dr. Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran, who covered the murder cases of both Phil Spector and O.J. Simpson. But released details and conclusions from his report give cause for wonder even on basic issues.

First, take Jackson’s weight. The ME recorded the star at 136. But when booked on child molestation charges in Santa Barbara in 2003, he was 120. In the final six years of his life, Jackson handlers expressed alarm at his weight loss, calling him “emaciated” and possibly bulimic. His own personal physician and close friend, Dr. Arnold Klein, told TMZ that the King of Pop looked like he’d “come from Auschwitz.”

But the autopsy reports that Jackson gained 16 pounds in these last years. One would have expected a loss. Indeed, coroner inside sources said the star was “skin and bones,” and told Geraldo Rivera he weighed 112.

The next area of autopsy report peculiarity: Jackson’s lungs. In his 1988 autobiography, Moon Walk, Jackson revealed that he had been diagnosed in the '70s with a condition related to pleurisy. Subsequently, he was often hospitalized with the flu, pneumonia, and shortness of breath. He traveled with oxygen tanks. Though the coroner found that Jackson did indeed have “chronically inflamed lungs,” he concluded that he was “fairly healthy” even so. Since the star died of pulmonary failure, did the coroner test for the cause of the inflammation and find it to be indeterminable or benign?

In 1987, Jackson’s close friend, Liberace, died. His personal physician recorded cardiac arrest on the death certificate. But after autopsy, the Riverside medical examiner concluded the entertainer had died of cytomegalovirus pneumonia from the AIDS virus. His estate’s executors filed a libel suit against the coroner’s office. They lost.

Liberace – whom Michael called “Lee, my guardian angel”— had lost 75 pounds and been bedridden and on oxygen for months. He had been diagnosed HIV-positive the previous year by Dr. Elias Ghanem, Vegas’s doctor to the stars who had treated Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, among others.

The tragic 1990 AIDS death of young Ryan White devastated his benefactor, Michael. Soon afterward, he was rushed to the hospital, suffering shortness of breath, vertigo, and chest pains. According to his biographer, J. Randy Taraborrelli, he was tested for HIV and found negative. His friend and collaborator, Freddie Mercury of Queen, was not so fortunate: the virus claimed his life the following year.

Michael too was at high risk for the disease: he was a transfusion recipient and — according to his biographer, Ian Halperin, as well as several others – he was gay. In the last years of his life, he suffered many bacterial and viral infections, flu-like fatigue, nausea, as well as skin problems, dramatic weight loss, and insomnia. All are symptoms of AIDS.

But some are symptoms of lupus (with which he was diagnosed in the late '80s) and of Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Insiders told Ian Halperin that Jackson had suffered from this virulent immunological disease and needed a lung transplant. In the meantime, they claimed the singer had undergone “augmentation therapy” – he was injected with pulmonary protein from human blood — commonly administered to AIDS patients.

So, did Dr. Sathyavagiswaran and his team test this “fairly healthy” man for AAD or AIDS? Unlikely, especially in the latter case. According to Dr. Carol J. Huser, author of the "Coroner’s Report" column for the Durango Herald, an ME is forbidden to test for AIDS unless he – as in the Liberace case — believes the decedent may have put others at risk of contagion.

“I test [for HIV] VERY rarely, as I think do most of my colleagues,” asserts Dr. Huser. “And, in many states, the results would be confidential and the ME could not release them.”

In 2001 Janet, Tito, and Randy Jackson staged a drug intervention on their brother. Michael sent them away saying, “I’ll be dead in a year anyway.” Was he aware of having a terminal condition even then? Years later in Las Vegas, his family attempted another intervention and Michael’s bodyguards barred their way.

According to his father, Joe, Michael, in the last weeks of his life, told his daughter, Paris, he might not make it to Father’s Day. The warning has inspired a murder conspiracy theory now supported by many Jackson fans as well as his family. They believe Sony and/or AEG Productions are behind it, with Dr. Conrad Murray as the needleman.

AEG hired Murray, insists the conspiracy camp. In fact, Michael had handpicked the cardiologist and demanded that AEG put him on the upcoming comeback tour payroll. “You don’t argue with the King of Pop,” said AEG head, Randy Phillips.

Jackson had been hiring traveling enablers for years. “When he went on tour he’d take boxes full of drugs with him — he couldn’t do without it,” wrote his biographer and former friend, Stacy Brown, of the ’92 Dangerous Tour. Canceling it, Michael entered rehab and was put on suicide watch. In future years, he fell off the wagon and his drug abuse escalated unchecked.

Which brings us, finally, to the coroner’s toxicology report. It identifies only the drugs in the last injections: the benzodiazepines and propofol administered by Dr. Murray in the final ten hours of Jackson’s life. It should have been clear just from this – not to mention the countless injection sites — that the decedent was a drug addict and had built up an enormous appetite for and resistance to sedatives.

Given his prolific medical history, did the coroner’s office fulfill its legal obligation to conduct full discovery? According to California Code 27499: “The coroner shall summon and examine as witnesses every person who in his opinion or that of any of the jury has any knowledge of the facts.”

Did the coroner’s office subpoena Jackson’s medical records for life-threatening pre-existing conditions? Did it interview his innumerable doctors, one of whom, according to Joe Jackson, was Dr. George Nichopolous, Elvis’s enabler who was tried for manslaughter after the King’s own fatal overdose?

If such discovery was done, the coroner would have found a drug cornucopia for the King of Pop: tranquillizers for nerves and panic attacks; narcotics for pain; sedatives and anesthesia for sleep; amphetamines for performance; steroids for lupus and immunological ailments; antibiotics for recurring infections.

When the full autopsy report is publicized, will all these substances be identified? Will their long-term combined deadly effect – especially in concert with pre-existing illnesses — be appraised?

Probably not because this would be damaging to the prosecution which seeks to find the defendant, Dr. Conrad Murray, solely responsible for the death of a fairly healthy man.

As Dr. Michael M. Baden wrote in Unnatural Death, when he became the Chief Medical Examiner for New York City, “I envisioned the office as independent, scientific, apolitical… [But] It is an arm of the DA’s office. What is really wanted is an elastic man, one who will stretch and bend his findings to suit the DA’s needs… Truth and excellence play no part in the arrangement.”

The Innocence Project which helped pass the federal 2004 Justice for All Act makes a similar claim: "Exaggerated statistics and laboratory fraud have led to wrongful conviction in several states… In some instances, labs or their personnel have allied themselves with police and prosecutors, rather than prioritizing the search for truth."

The LAPD and DA have suffered embarrassing losses in high visibility cases over the years. People v. Murray may become as big as the infamous O.J. case. The DA badly wants a conviction. The coroner’s report will be the most hotly contested evidence. The defense will surely attempt to show that its findings are bent and stretched.

But will this be enough to exonerate the last enabler of the King of Pop?

What are your sources for your information? Other than “sources say” kind of stuff, I don’t see any credible attribution for your allegations. Someone who cashed in on a book says Jackson always had a box of drugs with him? Was he charged with possession? Is there credible evidence of multiple prescriptions–if so, where are the details? WIthout attribution, credible sources for information or any other hard facts, you’re just blathering. Like there hasn’t been enough of that.

  • Stephanie

This is the biggest bunch of BS I have ever read in my life! I am sorry that I even wasted time reading it. The full autopsy report was released months ago.

  • Rachel

are you implying the autopsy is not accurate? certainly there many twists and turns in this case..let’s wait and see what happens..thank you

  • Tehajii

This is all a bunch of hogwash! The full autopsy was released some months ago. The King of Pop was suffering from a number of ailments, (some excrutiating & painful) therefore he was placed on several medications so that he could be as comfortable as possible. With all of the crap that he had to deal with on top of everything else, I am amazed that he was able to survive as long as he did. These people should just give it a rest already! You’ve done everything in your power to trash the guy and now that he’s gone you want to keep spreading your dirt. Makes me sick!

  • jm

It is not professional of you to speculate about Michael Jackson’s health at the time of death by quoting money hungry scoundrels like Halperin and Taborelli. And to insinuate that Michael had aids is beyond the pale. Obviously, you take tabloids like the National Enquirer seriously and that is sad.

  • sam

I feel like washing my body after reading this crap.Get it into your head, the authopsy rePort was not biased against or for MJ.The media was dissapointed the only drugs found in his body was those given to him by dr murray.he managed to reference all the available tabloid articles, can you imagine he even quoted Ian halperin as if he is credible. If he was such a chronic drug user like you people labelled him why was his liver clean?this article smells like the handiwork of murray and his defence team.

  • Brian

Something doesn´t add up with regards Michael´s weight. Either the coroner in 2010 or the LAPD in 2003 were lying. He was much thinner than 2003- anyone can see that. Dangerously thin in fact. Other people close to Michael have said he was 112 pounds at Forest Lawn.

I´m also suspicious about how they diagnosed vitiligo. They state on the first page “the deceased suffered from vitiligo” which suggests they had access to his medical records. They also give no insight into how they came to that conclusion, apart from visually examining his body. We know Michael had de-pigmentation therapy, and used lightening creams- where is the mention of that? The problem I have with relying on his medical records, is that they were mainly written by Arnold Klein- whose relationship with Michael went beyond patient/Doctor. Just look at Prince Jackson, and see how Arnold Klein attended custody hearings, and pictures of Klein and the kids together at xmas. I don´t trust Arnold Klein, and would not be surprised if he publically said what Michael wanted him to say, or told Michael he had certain conditions that were false- all for serious amounts of money.

But if they had access to Michael´s medical records, why doesn´t it say he suffered from Discoid Lupus, which Klein publically said he diagnosed Michael with?

Mr. you need your face slapped for writing such garbage! You are as low as any person could go.

PLEASE STOP let him RIP for the SAKE of the KIDS

  • sassy4554

Leave michael alone even in death The media is still hounding him . Michael was never heavy in weight he was a dancer and he stayed slim .

  • Heidi

This is a bunch of B.S. As Michael once said, “just because you read it in a magazine or see it on a TV screen don’t make it factual.” Leave this man alone.

  • Craig

His longterm friend and makeup artist, Karen Faye, also said that she was told by Michael´s mortician, that he weighed 112 pounds at death.

Someone is lying somewhere. He was definitely not heavier than when he was arrested in 2003.

  • lo

    LOL
This is the biggest BS I have ever read! You dont list any reliable sources and you quote Ian, the most ridiculous ”biographer” that ever lived? lol
Serioulsy…you should be ashamed for writing such a terrible article. You cant even write.
The full autopsy is public information for EVERYONE to see. The ONLY drugs found in his sistem was the ones that Dr. Murray gave him. Period.

  • mjjac

Michael Jackson did not have AIDs and was NOT Gay and was not a pedifile. Are you retarded? This was the most rediculous article I have read to date. Leave him alone already. Hes dead! Are you reporters not happy enough that you killed him? Made him so unhappy he turned to drugs to make it through the day? You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You do not have the right to judge, thats God’s job!

  • mj1fan

You know, this is so ANNOYING! As said before, he is dead and gone, and you STILL wanna keeping coming up with trash to write about him. You’re still fascinated with trying to bring him down. Its all, though, to do what I’m doing–to get a reaction. And I fell right into it. But I am going to have to make this my last comment. This is my first time ever in life, ever reading your column, let alone, knowing you were ever on the planet. I’ve never heard of you. It amazes me of the “expert journalist” who write the books and write the articles, always proclaiming the accuracy and the reliability of THEIR statements, based on “a reliable source” or a “close friend of the family”. How “close to the family” ARE you, if you are always “telling” all their business at the drop of a hat? You supposedly have the “true scoop” and are always willing to tell it ALL, yet you claim to be so close to the family or such a dear friend. The person who wrote this article wants to say without saying that he believes Michael was gay and died of AIDS. Doesnt want to SAY it because he’s afraid possibly that those who believe otherwise wouldnt be kindly acceptable to that. And you’re right. We wouldnt take kindly to it at all. You’re WRONG. Are you a doctor? I dont know. Maybe you are. Or did your “doctor friend” or “reliable source” tell you these things? These “fiends” that were so close to him and claim to know he had a drug problem what did you do about? What? What did you do to help him? IF you were a real friend, then, yes, you CAN tell him ‘no” and not give in to him and watch him or know he is doing something to jeopardize his life. If you are a real friend, its not about him being the “King of Pop”, its about him being MICHAEL. I may not be able to express myself as well as I’d like, but I am just so sick of junk like this. If you, mr article are gay, good for you. I have nothing against gay persons at all. But get over it–Michael Jackson wasnt gay. He wasnt. You and some others may want to believe he was, but he wasnt. He simply wasnt. If you bought his albums, records and CDs, great. I know he highly appreciated it for it made him extremely rich…But stop all the trash. Michael Jackson didnt died of AIDS. Please let him rest in peace. Please. PLEASE.

  • lovemj

With so many positive things to write about Michael why do so many people concentrate on the negative? He deserves so much more than what the trash media are giving him. Think of his kids, his family, his fans, his friends. Please, stop. Let him Rest in Peace

Many many authoritative sources are mentioned: MJ’s father, Joe Jackson; MJ’s friend/physician; Dr. Arnold Klein; biographers J. Randy Taraborrelli, Ian Halperin, Stacy Brown; MJ AEG producer Randy Phillips; prominent coroners, Dr. Michael Baden and Dr. Carol Huser.

Stacy Brown who referenced the “boxes of drugs” is a long-time Jackson family friend/confidante (as is his co-author Bob Jones, who was president of MJJ Productions for 30 years). MJ (like Elvis) was never charged with possession because these drugs were legal prescriptions from licensed doctors. However, they were often written to pseudonyms such as “Omar Arnold” and “Jack London,” as now acknowledged by MJ’s doctor, Arnold Klein, and independently confirmed by most major biographers.

The coroner lists seven powerful sedatives in MJ’s system. Biographers (Taraborrelli, Halperin, Jones, and Porter) provide copious evidence of MJ consuming these drugs in the past, plus other controlled substances.

Moreover, it is a matter of medical record that MJ detoxed at least twice. During his first recorded detox, his monitoring physician, Dr. Steven Hoefflin, told his managers: “Either the drugs are going to kill him or he’s going to die by flying out of a window, because he thinks he’s can fly.” His second detox, overseen by Dr. Neil Ratner, occurred in 1999 after he collapsed on a plane to Frankfurt, and was found to be addicted to Demerol and morphine. Subsequently, Jackson family members themselves have acknowledged that they fruitlessly tried to stage several drug interventions on him, the last time in Las Vegas, early 2009. Before this, MJ was sued by a Beverly Hills pharmacy for an unpaid prescription bill of over $100,000.

For further well-documented and supported details of MJ’s prescription drug addiction see the Dangerous Chronology here.

Jackson fans routinely rail against any and all information about him which is not adultation. Any biographical critic, no matter how authoritative and scrupulous, is arbitrarily dismissed as a liar, a Judas, or a “disgruntled employee” ” and now, since his death, a grave desecrator. But the truth exists independently of idol worship.

Sir: I wonder if you have recently watched the interview with Michael Jackson’s bodyguards on ABC? These three gentlemen were employed by Mr. Jackson for two years during the time he lived in Las Vegas.

If you have, then you know they have spoken about his “disires” for women and that he had at least two girlfriends during the time they worked for him. This was supposedly when Ian Halperin said he was dressing like a woman and having sex in seedy motels with men.

I’m sorry, but I will believe the people that lived with him 24-7 than someone who is out to make a buck with sensationalistic, medialoid trash.

Also, I have never read one time, except here in your blog, about Liberace being Michael Jackson’s dear friend- not once.

I have read Taraborelli’s book and he never said anything about Michael being tested for HIV. On the contrary, in an interview with one of the national broadcasting companies, he said he felt Mr. Jackson was asexual until he met Lisa Marie Presley. I don’t know if that is true or not, as Mr Jackson chose not to discuss his personal life with the public, but what you said is definitely a misrepresentation of Mr. Taraborelli’s work.

  • amy

his autopsy report was out awhile ago. give it up. and to speculate aids is just cruel. let the man rest. if you even read the report you would see high levels of diprivan in all organs. let the man be.enough already

  • Ellen D Rodriguez

Well, Mr. Comfort, I am a doctor and I have to say that after reading your “article” I have an advice for you: go back to school. Yes, you need to learn to read and and how to analyze evidence.
The toxicology report names the drugs given by Murray and their metabolites. Chornic intramuscular injections from chronic use of demerol or morphine will leave scar tissue that will be present in such a patient. It is absent in this case. The marks are fresh as they reflect the many accesses they attempted to inject resucitative medications. If so many respectable people in the industry, males, gay and straight report Mr.Jackson as a healthy heterosexual male, why are you going to use someone’s accounts who’s reputation is that of a tabloid reporter? Mr. Taraborreli only expressed biased opinions in too many circumstances for his job to be called respectable journalism. Alpha1 antitrypsin deficiency is a serious disorder, genetically induced, not drug related or whatever ignorant etiology you ascribe to it. Seriously, if you can’t achieve my recomendations you probably need a brain transplant and should be writting at all. This article relects mostly on your hate and your own sexual identity that anything else, same with Hellperin and Taraborreli. There are many places here where you can get your facts from and research the conditions you so adamantly and irresponsibly write about.

  • http://blogcritics.org/culture/article/michael-jackson-autopsy-turvy/ Ellen

The only reason Stacey Brown and Bob Jones wrote a sensationalistic book was to improve their economic status. Mr.Jones was called to testify in 2005. Under oath he denied all the sensationalisitc comments he made in that book. Mr.Brown was not as close as he claims to be, as the Jackson brothers have stated many times, especially after seeing him making comments on world wide television that were not accurate.

  • maryg

First of all, this was no 112 pound man that performed in This Is It; secondly Michael had not performed AT ALL since 2001, it is very possible that without a active lifestyle he could have put on 16 pounds. He did NO performing, to speak of, for almost 8 years This man suffered his entire life just because of speculation like you have just written, which is not veified as the truth. I believe that the coroner gave accurate information, I also believe that there were no other drugs found in his system, just take a look at the rehersal footage from This Is It, this man was not frail, thin yes, but he was always a very slight man in build and weight. He appeared to be in total control of every aspect of this concert rehersal, I did not see any indication of a raging drug addict, as you implied. In spite of all his verified illnesses, leave it to the press to continue their defamation of a very generous and caring man. Everybody wants Michael to fail, even in death!

  • Smarti

Michael was not gay and he did not have aids. He had trouble maintaining his weight for many, many years. You are 100% absolutely wrong. You cite many “alternative sources” yet you did not research Michael in his own words. There are audio recordings widely available on the internet where Michael speaks openly about women and also about his food issues when he was working and how the abuse by his father effected his eating (sad but true). You just did not bother to use the right sources because you started with an erroneous conclusion and worked backward. What counts for “journalism” these days is a joke. And guess what? It has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I am a fan. I am an educated person who just knows how to research an issue before I comment on it. You should try that and maybe you will become a professional someday.

  • http://blogcritics.org/culture/article/michael-jackson-autopsy-turvy/ Ellen

Please rest assure that MJ fans are not always young, let alone blind or idolatric. They have done their research. Many, too many to count are overachieving, highly educated people holding impressive jobs and tittles. I can not say the same about the “journalists” who write about Michael Jackson.

  • http://blogcritics.org/culture/article/michael-jackson-autopsy-turvy/ Jennifer

As I read through the comments I see we are all in agreement. I’d just like to add that you are ignoring the insurance physical MJ passed in Feb 2009. Or you think Lloyd’s would insure a disease riddled drug addict. I pray that Katherine and MJs kids are never exposed to your “article”. It is cruel and devoid of fact.

  • http://blogcritics.org/culture/article/michael-jackson-autopsy-turvy/ Ellen

And Jennifer a diseased riddled drug addict AND an end stage HIV patient! Full blown AIDS… are you serious Comfort???

Michael suffered from LUPUS. All of the symptoms you are describing are also signs of Lupus. Heart, Weight Loss, etc.

Lupus symptoms depend on what body organs are affected and how seriously they are affected.

Fatigue: Nearly all people with lupus have mild to extreme fatigue. Even mild cases of lupus cause an inability to engage in daily activities and exercise. Increased fatigue is a classic sign that a symptom flare is about to occur.
Joint and muscle pain: Most people with lupus have joint pain (arthritis) at some time. About 70% of people with lupus report that joint and muscle pain was their first sign of the disease. Joints may be red and warm, and may swell. Morning stiffness may also be felt. Lupus arthritis often occurs on both sides of the body at the same time, particularly in the wrists, small joints of the hands, elbows, knees, and ankles.
Skin problems: Most people with lupus develop skin rashes. These rashes are often an important clue to the diagnosis. In addition to the butterfly rash over the cheeks and bridge of the nose, other common skin symptoms include skin sores or flaky red spots on the arms, hands, face, neck, or back; mouth or lip sores; and a scaly, red or purple raised rash on the face, neck, scalp, ears, arms, and chest.
Sensitivity to light: Exposure to ultraviolet light (such as sunlight or tanning parlors) typically worsens the skin rash and can trigger lupus flares. Sensitivity to light affects many of those with lupus, with fair-skinned people with lupus tending to be more sensitive.
Nervous system symptoms: The majority of people with lupus develop nervous system problems, most commonly headaches, depression, or anxiety. Memory loss is less common.
Heart problems: People with lupus may develop inflammation of the heart sac (pericarditis), which may cause severe, sudden pain in the center of the left side of the chest that may spread to the neck, back, shoulders, or arms.
Mental health problems: People with lupus may develop problems such as anxiety and depression. Such problems can be caused by lupus, the medications used to treat it, or the stress of coping with chronic illness.
Fever: Most people with lupus will sometimes have a low-grade fever related to the disease. Fever is sometimes a first sign of the disease.
Changes in weight: Many people with lupus lose weight when their disease is active (flaring).
Hair loss: People with lupus may experience periods of hair loss, either in patches or spread evenly over the head. This hair loss is usually not permanent.
Swollen glands: Many people with lupus eventually develop swollen lymph glands during a flare.
Raynaud’s phenomenon: Some people with lupus have this condition. It affects the small vessels that supply blood to the skin and the soft tissues under the skin of the fingers and toes, causing them to turn white and/or blue or red. The skin affected will feel numb, tingly, and cold to the touch.
Inflammation of blood vessels in the skin (cutaneous vasculitis): Inflammation or bleeding from the blood vessels can lead to small or large blue spots or small reddish spots on the skin or nail beds.
Swelling of the hands and feet: Some people with lupus have kidney problems, which can prevent extra fluids from being removed from the body tissues. As fluid collects, the hands and feet may swell.
Anemia: Anemia is a decrease in the amount of the oxygen-carrying substance (hemoglobin) found in red blood cells. Many people with an ongoing disease such as lupus develop anemia because they don’t have enough red blood cells.

  • MJMedia099

Halperin book was full of LIES. He tried to imply Michel was gay but strangely he seemed to have left off that Michael had a secret son in the 80’s named Omer Bhatti and THAT IS HIS SON.

  • MJMedia09

When Michael first died and I heard rumors of pains in his chest, I thought he had died from Lupus.

Deepak Chopra, a friend of Michael, said he had 2 auto immune deficiency diseases. One called Vitligo which causes milky white skin. But the second one, Lupus, is the one that interest me.

Did Michael die from Lupus? Lupus often cause excruciating pain to your muscles and joints and usually die of heart attacks which explain having a CARDIOVASULAR PHYSICIAN.

“Lupus sufferers frequently die in their 40s and 50’s from sudden heart attacks, caused by atherosclerosis. Lupus causes inflammation in many of the body’s organs including the arteries of the heart. The inflamed arteries then cause cholesterol to deposit on their walls. These deposits cause scarring, and the whole process primes lupus victims to have massive heart attacks, which are often asymptomatic beforehand.

Now if you don’t believe that Jackson had lupus consider this: vitiligo, which Jackson also suffered from, resulting in the famous pigment loss in his skin, is also an auto-immune disease. Coincidentally, vitiligo and lupus are often diagnosed in the same person, explains Dr. Lockshin. In other words, it would not have been unusual for Michael Jackson to have suffered from both ailments.”

  • Christi

You’re cruel and this is a vile piece of filth. How about instead of reading every taboild story you read facts? Read his autopsy report. He had Lupus and he had Vitiligo, NOT AIDS. How dare you even make the implication that he did. That man went through HElll during that trial and lost weight due to stress and a lack of eating. As a 50 year old man being thin will look different on him than when he was 30.

Furthermore, to use a dirtbag like Ian Halperin as a source says even more about how much of a researcher you are. You think because ONE person wrote in a book he’s gay its truth? There’s absolutely no proof of that, and youre trshing gays when you imply that: ‘hes gay so he mustve had AIDS’.

Youre a disgrace, plain and simple.

  • cynthial

Sir, you should take lessons from a real journalist, Mr. Charles Thomson. Maybe he could teach you how to fact check.

  • mmlj

I am a physician and I am appalled at the erroneous medical information that you are presenting to support a terrible speculation about Michael Jack
son having AIDs. Which is what your comments are- pure tabloid speculation. Is this journalism? Is this information to enlighten the public?
Let us get some facts straight- if someone has a friend that died from AIDs that does not mean the person also has AIDs or will get AIDs. AIDs is not a disease that is transmitted or transfer by association. The medical community has work tirelessly to get rid of that fear and myth. Please don’t be irresponsible. It is pathetic that you do something so horrendous just to create some sensationalism with your article. This is sad.
Michael Jackson’s prior history of pleurisy – which is an inflammation of the pleura- the lining of the lung is not part of the pathology of AIDs. Nor is it pathology of the lung tissue. So you are extrapolating from an inflammation of the lining of the lung to pneumonia associated with AIDs. You are wrong again to make that assumption. In addition, the pathology of the lung findings on the autopsy is not suggestive of AIDs or a pneumonic process.

The lack of narcotics in his system shows that he was no longer dependent on narcotics and there is no evidence to support the continued assumption that he was an addict. I think many in the media were shocked that his system was not filled with all types of narcotics and illicit drugs. Michael Jackson had you all fooled again. Many have eaten their words and others like you are trying to find another spin rather than accept that you were wrong in your assumptions about Michael Jackson.

The pucture wounds on his body were new and are a result of attempts for resuscitation. In a cardiac arrest you usually have to make several attempts to start IV lines so there are usually several puncture wounds. I am sure you have never witness a resuscitation, which explains your erroneous comments. Long term drug users have “skin pops”, which are healed scars on the body, where they tried to inject or injected themselves.

The clinical manifestation of AIDs patients before they die from lung disease, is as you mentioned, Liberace was bed ridden for months prior to his death or Mercury, who was also bedridden. Micheal Jackson had been performing for a comback concert tour with 20+ year olds up to the night before he died, and 1 and 2 days prior had done a full rehearsal. How many 50 year old could do what he did in the “This is it” movie? Definitely not one with AIDs and lung disease? Impossible. So your assumption is wrong again.

Please check your facts before you write. You seem like an ignorant and hateful person when you make statements that are so obviously erroneous. To speculate on AIDs as a cause of death for Michael Jackson is reckless and irresponsible. You should do a retraction of your article or write an apology to the Jackson family, especially to his children. What you have done is so wrong.

In terms of his personal life, who are you to make these assumptions, as to whether or not he is gay? First of all, it is none of your business- unless you wanted to be his partner, and I doubt he would have you, because there is nothing to support your conclusion that he is gay. So leave it alone. The people such as his body guards who have spent time with the man 24/7 for 2 years have attested to the fact that he is a male who has female friends and possibly lovers. But why is this anyone’s business? Be comfortable with who you are and leave other people and their sexual orientation alone. Why try to give the impression that someone has a different sexual orientation, when you don’t know the person. Again that is irresponsible and as journalist you should be ashamed of yourself. There are many people who read your column and will believe that you know what you are talking about. You know and I know that the information you have in this article is pure garbage. So as a responsible human being you need to do better than you are doing.

The information you gave on Anti-Trypsin 1 Deficiency is also incorrect. This is a genetic disease, not a virulent one. You discuss the disease in the same sentence with AIDs to make people think they are related. They are not.

In your discussion about AIDs, you mentioned that one of the symptoms is skin diseases associated with AIDs, and noted that Michael Jackson had skin disorder. Here are the facts, the primary skin disorder seen in AIDs patient is Kaposi’s Sarcoma, which is a disease that affects elderly Jewish men, Italian men, Africans, transplant patients and AIDs patient. This primary skin disorder of AIDs, Kaposi Sarcoma, is not isolated to AIDs.
Michael Jackson did not have Kaposi Sarcoma he had Vitiligo, whih is a hypopigmentation disorder, due to abnormal function of the melanocyte and/or melanin pigment formation. Vitiligo and Kaposi Sarcoma are quite different skin disorders, so don’t get the water murky to spread lies and hate. That again is providing medical information in a reckless format.

Medical information is not for tabliod gossip, and should not be presented that way. It is not information that should be used for speculatation and that is why it is so tightly controlled and secured. Someone’s medical information is their lifeline and should not become fodder for all types of tabloid hateful speculations. We have seen this from many of the hateful tabloid journalists, since Michael Jackson’s death. It is disgraceful and sad.
Before you write another article like this, you need to take off 12 years to study and understand the body, diseases and all facets of medicine. This will require that you return to college — do pre-med program, then try to see if you can get into Medical School- spend 4 years there and after that do a residency for 3 or 4 years. After you have done that you will respect peoples medical information. That will help you understand why it is dangerous to be speculative and so flippant with medical information. Medical information is not the role for a plain tabloid journalist, especially one who wants to say scandalous things about a dead person. Shame on you.

In terms of Dr. Murray, I regret that he put himself in this situation. I would not wish that on any colleague. However, as physicians we have a fiduciary responsibility to our patients and we should “do no harm”. It is difficult to explain why he did what he is accused of doing. As a physician, you have the right to say NO to a patient, which he should have considered and done.

  • Jacia

I’m sorry, but your blog article makes no sense whatsoever. When I read “Michael’s biographer, Ian Halperin” I knew that this was based on tabloid trash. If you’re going to write a blog about Michael Jackson, at least get some credible sources. Michael was not gay and the men AND women who knew him best can vouch for that. Do you think Ian knew Michael well? I would rather get info on MJ from people who knew him and the man himself. I wish people would stop using shady “biographies” written by gay men who wanted Michael to be gay as well. He wasn’t and there is plenty of evidence out there that debunks the gay rumors. You can start with the most recent being his three bodyguards on Good Morning America. I have yet to see one credible report of a gay lover. There’s no evidence of him being gay.

  • just so you know

Michael Jackson’s complete autopsy report HAS been released. It was released at the beginning of February, 2010. It’s a 51 page, 20.6MB pdf file.

You’re not doing your reputation any favors with articles like this, Mr. Comfort.

  • MJMedia09

Here’s the 51 PAGE Michael Jackson AUTOPSY REPORT. You must have missed this in your research. lol

How stupid can a person be? “Why wasn’t it released?” lol

  • MJMedia09

The real question you should be asking is WHY did the media give LITTLE attention to the official release of the report after lying about Michael dying from every drug possible but ironically the only drugs he died from were the one that Dr. Murray gave him.

  • sparkle

congratulations! you’ve just joined the bandwagon of dirty and irresponsible journalists. you shouldn’t comment, much less blog, about things you know nothing about. you didn’t use one credible source, and this is a cheap way of bringing traffic to your site. traffic may be great, yes, but only because people want to bash you. you should have consulted with doctors first before letting your imagination run wild.

  • michaela

I can’t get it! This is the only way you feel you can push your limits professionally speaking? Or is it about a sort of contest in media with a high prize if you are able to invent new lies about the most talented and kind human being that ever walked on this planet? When will you leave him just rest in peace? We’ve had enough already! You can’t change our minds or our beliefs regarding Michael, so don’t try so hard anymore, concentrate on finding something else!

  • PYT

I have been to numerous gay blogs to read what they had to say about MJ and the people posting on them did not feel he was gay. So to me that was telling. The people there also said that they believed he had a sexual relationship with LMP. Also, these people that Ian Halperin wrote about, where are they??? Didn’t they ever get a text message or a phone call from Michael? Or a hand written note? He’s gone, why don’t they come forward and give an interview or write a book?

  • maritom

All I can say is that this article is another example of misinformed, slanderous lies that these so called journalist continue to perpetuate. I hope the Jackson family sue this author.

  • Craig

The fact of the matter is, they found no retro-viral drugs used to treat aids patients, so this theory is blown out of the water.

There are inconsistencies in the autopsy, such as his weight, and how they came to certain conclusions.

He could of been gay- hanging out with Liberace, Freddie Mercury…Glamourous women like Liza Minelli and Elizabeth Taylor. There is no hard evidence to suggest he was hetrosexual.

He did take heavy morphine / demorol, uppers- but maybe he hadn´t taken those in the hours before his death, and so they don´t show up. Or maybe he was relatively clean bar Propofol, and ephedrine- used as a stimulant.

  • MJMedia09

Craig, I believe Michael’s murder was carried with precision. Michael stopped eating because he feared someone was trying to poison him. He told Dick Gregory he feared for his life. After Michael did the protest of Sony in 2002 and used the Jew Me Sue Me, he was a dead man and he knew it. It was obvious he was murdered when AEG hired Dr. Murray and tried to push him off on MJ. The Estate Executors, AEG, and Sony are MAKING TONS OF MONEY and have the Jackson family on a stipend of $960,000 per year. Michael would have NEVER agreed to anything like that. Everyone else is making more money than MJ’s kids and Michael’s family. In addition, Add, the 2002 Will seems fake. Why would Michael not adjust his Will in 2005 when he was involved in criminal case. Yet, they want us to believe that during his protest of Sony, he gave responsibility to John Branca?,

  • MJMedia09

The media tried to SELL Michael as gay for years with NO PROOF. In fact, there was more proof that he was interested in women than men. But the tabloids had NO INTEREST in covering that to sell him as “gay.” In fact, I oftened wondered why when MJ was with women, it got no coverage. Case in point, the media tried to make it appear he married Lisa Marie out of the blue when the allegations came when he was seeing her BEFORE. The allegations came in August 1993, but Michael met Lisa Marie at a mutual friends home in November 1992. Lisa Marie accompanied Michael to Atlanta in May 1993 to the former President Jimmy Carter’s kids foundation. In fact, Michael said no one knew she was there with him.

  • MJMedia09

Craig, you speak of Liz and Liza but no mention of these women.

Michael had romantic relationships with many women of various ethnicity. The list includes: Tatum Oneal, Lisa Marie Presley, Debbie Rowe, Diana Ross, Brooke Shields, Tatiana Thumbtzen, Theresa Gonsalves, Stephanie Mills, and Shana Mangatal. All of them have said Michael was a red blooded MAN.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/MJMedia09 MJMedia09

Also, stop following Randy Taraborelli’s book. Most of the FICTION he wrote about was fed from MJ’s camp to create a MYSTIQUE. Michael wanted people to think he was asexual. He created an IMAGE of mystery but most who knew him said he was nothing like that image. If you want to learn more about the REAL MJ, visit my youtube account MJMedia09.

  • martha

I am also a physician and couldnt believe how ridiculous this article is.Mr david does not know much about medcine/health and related diseases and worst of all, he even failed to do any research on the diseases he attempted to diagnose MJ with.

It’s shoddy journalism attempting to diagnose him of AIDS posthumously because Ian halperin suspected him of being gay,AIDS is at the very end of the spectrum of hiv/aids disease complex. Most people with full blown AIDS like you described are so debilitated they can hardly function without assistance.MJ was singing and prancing around the stage with dancers half his age.If he had AIDS and still had that much energy the whole medical community would have ran to his doctor to give us the miracle drugs he was giving mj to make him perform like he did in THIS IS IT for our patients. It would have been a major medical breakthrough. Moreover, why were there no antiretrovirals and drugs used to treat opportunistic infections detected in his body.If he had been a chronic drug addict, why was his liver disease and toxin free.At least some of their metabolites would have been detected in some body tissues. Some of the needle marks you claim was all over his body was as a result of rescuscitation attempts.

Michael has a large fanbase but not all his fans are crazy over the top ones the media focus on.He has fans from all walks of live who dont believe he is the messiah but are tired of half truths, innuendos and blatant lies from the media.

  • maryg

The media jumped the gun when Michael died, as they have done his entire life. They were quick to label him a junkie, but when the autopsy results were made public, once again they were wrong. The American media, as a whole, are nothing short of tabloid whores, the witchhunt they conducted on Michael was nothing short of criminal. It is time that the journalists that are so quick to judge another human being, without any verification of their facts, come out and make a public apology to Michael Jackson, his family, and most importantly his children. Irresponsible reporting of the facts, continue to plague our Country; it is no wonder we are the laughing stock of the whole world.

  • Craig

He didn´t even want to take Brooke Shields to the Grammys with him.

Tatum was a friend, but it´s obvious nothing sexual happened between them.

Debbie Rowe was a stalker/ friend who agreed to have his children. Who even admitted the kids were conceived by artificial insemination- they would of had to of been seeing as Prince is defnitiely Arnold Klein´s son.

Lisa Marie was a PR move to counter the child abuse allegations.

Tatiana thumbsen tries to pretend they had something, but then admits nothing ever happened- again PR move.

Diana Ross? I mean come on. She was a mother to him more than anything.

You need to get your facts right.

You go on about journalists trying to make money off of MJ, but what do you think those bodyguards were doing? But that´s okay, because they are saying things you like to hear. It´s obvious to me those bodyguards have connections with the Jackson family, so I treat what they say with suspicion.

Liberace was a friend of Michael´s- have you not seen the pictures? Actually Liberace´s lover claimed to of had sex with Michael.

And I suggest you read Taraborelli´s book again, because it clearly says he was tested for HIV. I think it was when he collapsed before the “One Night Only- HBO special that never happenned.

  • Kathi

Sir, you have been used. Ian Helprin and Randy Taraborrelli get there information from gossip. Taraborrelli tries to make it seem as if he was sooo close to Michael. If so, why is the autobiography unauthorized, hum? Michael granted him a few interviews early in his career before he saw Taraborrelli for what he was, an opportunist trading on his limited contact with MJ. Ian…what can’t you say about him. He’s just an evil, evil man and, like other leeches in that business, is looking to suck what little is left of Michael and make a buck. Proof rather than hearsay should be the mandate when publishing about anyone. However, in the USA you can trash, malign, and downright lie while being protected by our Constitution. If our founding fathers knew how the 1st Amendment is being used to protect scumbags like you sir, Ian, and Randy they would be appalled. Shame on you!

  • Craig

MJ used Taraborelli for his own ends- feeding him information that he wanted in the public arena.

  • PYT

I am not one of MJ’s delusional fans, I actually have done a lot of research to find out if he was gay. There is no credible evidence to suggest that he had gay relationships as Ian Halperin wrote in his book. Michael also said he wasn’t gay. I have no reason not to believe him. He did dress effeminately at times though. That does not mean he was gay. David Carradine wasn’t gay as far as I know, look up what he was wearing when he died. I am not going to post it here.

    Mr Comfort:

You are wholly incorrect to assume that those of us angry about the 16 year decimation of Michael Jackson’s career, physical health and pysche, by a clearly biased media and compromised prosecutor – now only want to hear positive things said about Michael Jackson.

Clearly, most of the events in the last third of Mr Jackson’s life could not in any way be called positive. And it is the exposing of how and why those events came to be, that many people – including myself, want the world to hear about and be made aware of.

There is much fact-jumping here Mr Comfort. Take for instance, the odious tactic of implying that Michael was somehow ‘gay-by association.’ Predictably, we are treated to various anecdotal comments about Michael’s friendship with Liberace and Freddie Mercury. Yes, Liberace and Mercury both died from an Aids related illnesses – so what?

Michael knew many people and some of them have died. Not all of them died from Aids related illness, yet you choose to focus on the ones who did. What possible purpose does including speculation of this nature serve, other than increasing this piece’s commerical appeal to your editor, and those who’ll read anything that demeans Mr Jackson’s name?

It is perhaps the crass mentioning of the death of Ryan White, however, that defies belief. Again, employing the cheap tactic of implication, you use the fact of Michael’s friendship with Ryan White to suggest that this somehow exposed Mr Jackson to contact with the Aids virus.

How exactly would that have happened Mr Comfort?

The inference is both outrageous and repellent.

Michael’s fans have, since June 25th, been manhandled by journalists and press pundits alike. The fans (and yes, some do present as very emotional) are simply trying to draw people’s attention to the still continued smearing of Mr Jackson’s name and reputation by the media since his death – as well as the myriad questions surrounding Mr Jackson’s death.

Now that the eulogies are well and truly over, the media has retrained the tools it once used to ridicule Mr Jackson, and now applies them to his fans.

Thus we witness outright dismissal of the fans concerns, condescension from a literati who refuse to look past some of the less than perfect grammar in the comments of those individuals (some of whom have never blogged before), but who have taken the time to share their feelings on the web and elsewhere.

The wholesale describing of these fans as ‘devoted’,’crazed’ and ‘fanatical’ is – as any decent political analyst will tell you, a classic technique used to silence and devalue a perceived adversary.

Strangely though, no-one recognizes the media’s fixation on Mr Jackson as the obsession it clearly is.

How else can one explain the endless, ultimately non-revelatory speculation about a dead man, that articles such as this represent?

Mr Comfort, you postulate that Mr Jackson’s death could be due to the Aids viral disease. But it is unclear whether or not you were actually involved in the gathering of the data, to be able to make such a claim.

So why should your opinion be given any more prominence than say – mine, or the millions who wish people like you had fixed your keen eye for detail, on the real issues surrounding the less publicized parts of Mr Jackson’s life while he was still living?

If, Mr Comfort, you had spent as much time meticulously researching those who extorted and persecuted Mr Jackson, rather than speculatively ‘ghouling’ over Jackson’s remnants now that he is dead – perhaps the widespread belief in the myth of Mr Jackson as a pedophile would not be entertained by so many.

Where were you Mr Comfort when the pitiful incomplete details of Evan Chandler’s suicide emerged? Why was Diane Dimond’s voice the only one heard in to give an account of that sordid affair?

Where were you Mr Comfort, when the glaringly false testimony of the Arviso’s was destroyed on the stand by Mr Mesereau? Did you write about that? Did you expose this family of extorters as the predators they clearly were, and may still be?

When the 2005 verdicts were handed down, did you conduct any meaningful postmortem into the staggeringly misleading behaviour of the media – notably court TV, the New York Post, Diane Dimond, Nancy Grace, The Smoking Gun, and the countless others who decided they knew better than a jury or forensic evidence?

This list of questions, Mr Comfort, is necessarily brief. There could have been many more – but you get my point.

Rather than insulting millions of people you have never met, who understandably, take a dim view of the recent scrum of so-called journalists now rushing to proclaim Murray as the enabler here; whilst they deny their own ‘enablement’ in creating the context that allowed Michael Jackson’s worst insecurities to flourish.

So I ask you this: Where are the uncomfortable questions about your own professions’ hand in the profound vilification and degradation that Michael Jackson was subjected to for the last 15 years of his life?

Have you seen the rabid hate that is regularly blogged around the web about Mr Jackson? If you find yourself with a spare few hours or so, please take the time to wade through the cess of some of those comments. I think you’ll find you’d revise your opinions on who the real fanatics as regards Mr Jackson – really are.

Mr Comfort reduces an entire lifetime and one of the most significant humanitarians of the twentieth century, to a laundry list of suppressants and substances.

He states correctly that Mr Jackson was taking a combination of drugs.

    My question; is why?

all the above is a FAIL!
Diana Ross was more than a mother…they were in a sexual relationship he didn’t call her “my lover” for no reason

Lisa Marie was not PR they were in love divorced and the women followed this man around the world after that and she was left bitter. A women doesn’t act like that if it wasn’t real plus did you read her blog after his death?
Tatiana after all these years is still not over the man? why is that? if nothing happened? and there is more to the stories about the other women you listed do a little reseach.

Plus he had other women in his life that was never made public becuase he wanted to keep it that way for privacy!!! not hard to believe.

And in NO way was he close friends with Liberace who said? and that guy that said he had sex with MJ lied! and wanted $$$$.

Plus no one mentions all his close friends that are hetero but they mention the gay friends…lol

    I am done!

  • SusyQ

Boy, I sense some homophobia in this cesspool. What if MJ was gay? Does that make him less of a man? Does that lessen what he accomplished in his life? His talent–is it somehow diminished? Are we back in the dark gay-hater ages? And if he might have had AIDS, or didn’t, do we love him less? It’s a tragic disease like any other – it’s not leprosy, or prejudice…. Unprejudiced fans love Elton John no less because he’s gay, and Freddie Mercury no less because he died of AIDS. The first had the courage to declare himself; the second, the even greater courage to reveal his ailment and help the fight against such a deadly and misunderstood disease.

The witchhunt on Michael Jackson by tabloids AND mainstream media goes on months after he passed.
How much can his family take. We, who sympathize with Michael Jackson have no problem with the truth, we want to know what happened and why, But we have enough of speculation, non information, halftruth and bold lies.

This article has nothing to do with factfinding, It connects things that are not related, a lot of second hand information from unreliable sources and out of context quotes.
What is the agenda here and why?.
Really, Halperin and Taborelli being your sources? enough said.

Your reaction that Jackson fans ‘routinely rail against any and all information about him which is not adultation’is an insult, stereotypical and an easy way out. You conveniently ignore facts that many posters bring up against your insinuations.

You like all the biased media who over the years have routinely copy pasted fabricated lies about Michael jackson(like you do again in this article) are now exposed. You cannot fool us anymore because we have access to the same information and sources you have and we dont need you to be (mis)informed. You did this to yourself.

The sad thing is that WE dignify this garbage with our comments. That is why i call upon evryone here to stop reading and hitting these sites.
Quoting the Dr mentioned in the article because ‘Truth and excellence play no part in the arrangement’ of mr Comfort.

Aaad, all fans or rational thinking people who are not fans, but can see right through this trash – no matter what you say, people will hold on to their delusions. It just sucks that people like this have some sort of cheap platform to sling more trash.

But Michael, thankfully doesn’t have to put up with this crap anymore.

  • Deborah Ffrench

If there is homophobia here, it isn’t coming from anyone who is blogging in defence of Mr Jackson, or any of the values that Mr Jackson held to be important in his own life.

Michael, throughout his life, worked to expand compassionate and informed awareness about Aids, its treatment and its effects on sufferers – and his friendships with Liberace, Ryan and Freddie amongst others are testament to that.

Personally, I’m appalled at the way Mr Comfort uses the unspoken, but very real homophobia that exists in mainstream American culture to play to the gallery.

Inviting us to buy into an image of a diseased, sexually depraved Jackson shuffling his way through his last years on earth, Mr Comfort’s constant references to the the condition of Aids are disengenous at best – morally repugnant, at worst.

The perception of Michael, partcularly how he looked, played a large part in how he was treated. His guilt was virtually assumed because of his fluid physicality and lets face it – his beauty. Jackson was perceived as different, fey, gay, strange; and he was hunted for it.

Mr Comfort knows only too well that the kind of nasty speculation he indulges in, could and probably will be used in Doctor Murray’s trial to milk the prejudices that millions still harbour about Mr Jackson.

The irony, is that nearly all those in Jackson’s private circle have gone on record at some point to say Michael was straight.

    But that shouldn’t matter right?

    Right.

    this is a disgrace !
MJ was diagnosed w/a different condition in the 80’s that the vitiligo was a symptom of.I am so sick of speculative reporting !!! If you don’t have facts than don’t report & blog !

I want to know one thing. Do you get off on this crap? Poor Michael. He did not get any peace while he was alive, and now he can’t get any peace in death. Our hearts are ripped apart over his death, and you have to print this crap. Michael was a gentle man , who did no wrong. If you want to learn about the man, being trashed, go to http://www.mjtruthnow.com. it is a site devoted only to truth not propaganda.

I think this article is completely false. No idea where the author picked up these points from. There has been no evidence to prove at any point that MJ was gay or had AIDS. The coroner’s report is factual and shows that MJ was fairly healthy for a 50-year old man. His weight were normal and all his organs were functioning normally. There is no evidence to show that MJ was addicted to drugs in the past even. What is known is that he was a chronic insomniac who used anaesthetics to sleep. Period. Go tell your damn lies to some fools who will believe you, not MJ fans.

You´re living in a fnatasy world Nandini?

Did he look healthy to you at the end? In the cleverly edited cover up called This Is It?

Also, no drug addiction in the past? So what was he doing in rehab several times? You live in a total fantasy world.

The only one he was friends with, with the knowledge they had aids was Ryan White. He wasn´t friends with Freddie Mercury or Liberace at the end of their lives- and didn´t even attend the tribute cocnert to Freddie out of fear to his image- so stop trying to manipulate his history.

so what if people who knew him say he was staight? Thy´re hardly going to come out and say he was gay are they? Especially not his family who were strict Jehova´s witnesses.

What absolute sensationalist rubbish. Can’t you come up with anything better to write about? Michael Jackson died of a lethal dose of Propofol accelerated by other sedatives. Michael never regained the weight he lost before, during and after the 2005 trial and small wonder because he was persecuted, villified and condemned year in and year out. He was called a weirdo, a freak and “Whacko” and of course, a child molester. This beautiful man couldn’t molest anybody or anything because he was actually more in tune with the universe then anybody on this planet. This poor man battled and strugled to keep his life and his dignity for the sake of his children with little will left and certainly no health or career or financial security. Still he had the courage to put himself back out there despite the humiliations he had to endure years prior.

Shame on you for even raising such a disgusting suggestion.

  • Liat

    Dear Mr. Comfort,

First, I think that the fact that you chose to cover this subject 9 months after MJ death is a disgrace.
Second, regarding the “sources” you say you are using, let’s break them down shall we?
MJ’s father, Joe Jackson – While I have much respect to Joe Jackson, calling him a reliable source is a joke. He is known to say things that are not true or partial truth. In addition, considering his troublesome relationship with his son, I will take anything he says with a grain of salt.
MJ’s friend/physician; Dr. Arnold Klein – After Dr. Klein disgussting interview on TMZ, anything he says is questionable.
    J. Randy Taraborrelli – Maybe the only reliable source you are using. He actually said you are jumping into conclusion.
Ian Halperin – Reliable source, are you kidding me? Half the stuff he said have no proof whatsoever. His book is considered trash.
Stacy Brown – “Brown might have worked with MJ in the past, but considering the disturbing way their relationship ended and the “book” he wrote about MJ, all I can say that he is as far from reliable as possible.
AEG producer Randy Phillips – The statements he made in the past year have so many contradictions, I don’t know which one to believe.

Most MJ fans know and acknowledge that MJ had a drug problem. He was a human being and far from perfect. To disregard the comments you received because they disagree with you is just sad. In addition, we have been reading one bad “article” or blog after the other for many years now and even more since he died. Can you blame us for being sick of people like yourself? In this sad world, accusations and speculations have away to become facts. MJ case is a good example of that. So please, with all due respect, find something else to write about

  • jeffreydes

In reading this article, I think the rabid comments have become the most telling part of all. I don’t list myself as a Michael Jackson fan nor detractor, and so I have no dog in this fight. But how credible can a response be that comes from someone whose moniker identifies them as MJ’s Number 1 Fan? I see screeching here claiming “Michael was NOT a drug addict”, while at the same time stating “Michael had to turn to drugs to survive the hounding of the media!” Please, let’s get real. Propofol is a drug that is only used by an anesthesiologist under controlled conditions in an operating room. To have a physician on your personal staff for the purpose of administering this drug in your home – buddy, you’re a drug addict!
I can’t speak to the accuracy of Mr. Comfort’s stated facts, but I can certainly see bias from those who refuse to hear anything unflattering about their boy deity. “He’s dead, leave him alone”? Jackson desperately sought out fame and publicity, just like most any other celebrity. Along with that comes scrutiny, especially with a suspicious and untimely death. Sorry, that seems to be the package deal. Look, from shortly after his Thriller success, Jackson became a walking freak show. Just try to step away from the idol worship and see this with some objectivity. Me thinks ye protest too much.

  • Raven

As a writer you should be aware that you have a public responsibility to truth and accuracy when you put things “out there.” Even personal “theories” and “hypotheisies” can be misconstrued once the information is out there in cyberspace to be picked up and spread by anyone at will. Whole some of the points you bring up are interesting, it is all circumstantial eveidence at best. Ian Halperin, whom you quote quit extensively, has been largely discredited as a reliable source. He is to my knowledge the only one who as ever tried to pass off the claim that Michael was gay-and this, again, was based on shoddy research. It’s not a fact that has been substantiated by any other sources. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if he were gay, but there is simply no evidence that supports it.

Secondly, there is absolutely no mention of AIDS whatsoever in the official autopsy report. Now, is it possible that it could have been left out? Well, yes, anything technically is “possible.” If I wanted to argue that he had cancer, I could probably latch onto a dozen circumstantial evidence things listed in the report that might back up my “theory”-but it still doesn’t make it true. The official report is what it is, and I think trying to add more to it than what is actually there-in black and white-is a dangerous and unethical game to be playing, especially in this era of “cut and paste” journalism in which all it takes is a few outlets to get wind of something like this, and next thing you know, the headlines will be-“Michael Jackson Died From AIDS.” There is nothing in that report that suggests a death from AIDS, and any speculation that he had the disease is just that-speculation.

  • Raven

Jeffreydes, you say you “can’t speak for the accuracy of Mr. Comfort’s stated facts” yet from there you proceed to deride those who are pointing out the inaccuracies in his statements. Yes, some fans can be extremeists and unreasonable. However, most of us do know “the facts” and that is why it’s so irksome to see the same old lies, myths, and examples of shoddy journalism being perpetuated. If you’re truly neutral and on the fence, as you claim, then you should be willing to take into account what some of these commenters are saying, since most of these people have a lot more time invested in seeking the truth about MJ than some of these people writing these articles. There’s nothing wrong with demanding truth in reporting, if you know what the facts are and are seeing them misrepresented.

  • jeffreydes

Raven, that is just my point. Some of these commenters have more invested in protecting Jackson’s reputation than Comfort has in deriding it. And to even say he is deriding it is inaccurate. There is no malicious intent that I can see, only bringing up possible evidence that could point to a different conclusion.
But who are these people anyway? Why do they live vicariously through an idol who didn’t even know they exist? They make statements like “Michael was NOT a drug addict!”, “Michael was NOT gay!” They don’t know this any more than they know if I am a gay drug addict. How does anyone know anything about Michael Jackson beyond what he and his handlers wanted them know, or what they read in the media? Were each of these people his closest confidant? Point is, Jackson’s fans have an obsession to protect him simply because it’s what they want to believe, and I see little in it that has to do with fact, just as Christian fundamentalists believe in creationism and then set out to prove it is factual by cherry picking only the evidence that supports their forgone conclusion. There is a lot of religious fervor in the offense they take. And personally, I don’t care one way or the other about what Michael Jackson was. I see him simply for what his public image appeared to be: an enormously talented entertainer, and a freakishly bizarre individual. If he were not the talented entertainer, but instead stocked shelves at the local WalMart, do you think any of these defenders would have been comfortable having him babysit their children? Maybe he was just misunderstood. I don’t know any more than do you.

  • Blackjet88

This is an amazing piece of drivel. Michael Jackson was not gay nor was he a child molester. I’m surprised that you have sold anything if this is an example of your work. I am disappointed.

  • Karin

Jeffrydes, you ask “Who are these people anyway?” Quite simply we are Michael’s advocates and his admirers. I suppose you could say that we have become his followers, not as fans, but by carrying his message in our heart and psyche and attempting to pass it on. He shone a light on the world and asked us to sparkle and be the best human beings we could be.

We were touched by his simple goodness, his messages of hope and his compassion for humanity. Michael wasn’t the Man in the Mirror – he became our mirror. We saw his vulnerability and we witnessed the vilification process and then he died after many years of pain and persecution. If you wish to understand us then you need to understand Michael. Don’t listen to mainstream media but research the facts. Open your mind and don’t allow ignorance to cloud your judgement. Michael was called a freak by the media because his skin colour changed and he carried umbrellas and wore face masks. Michael actually suffered from Vitiligo and Lupus and he needed to have shelter from the sun. The official autopsy report confirms this Michael’s skin disease.

So we are compelled to follow Michael and it is a heartfelt thing. Many of us are females but many men also loved the human being that Michael was. Follow the truth but you won’t find it in the media. Get to know Michael yourself on a personal level and please, don’t judge us.

    AUTOPSY TURVY 2

    “Personal attacks are NOT allowed.”
    BlogCritics.

“Liar, disgrace, dirt monger, scumbag. vile piece of filth, retarded, lowest form of human being,
GTFO (Get the F**ck Out), Loser.”

Above are a few of the names readers have called the author of “Autopsy Turvy.” They express more about these Michael Jackson fans and fanaticism than about anyone else. Even so, kindly allow me to respond, not in kind, but in a respectful, reasonable manner for the record.

As the title indicates, the article is about the AUTOPSY — not directly about Michael Jackson the man, the star, or the hero. Yes, he was the object of the autopsy, but the article’s focus is on possible forensic bias in this report since the coroner is part of the DA’s office, and therefore pro-prosecution.

I am aware that the LA Coroner’s office released a report on February 8. But this is not the complete version that will be debated in the trial. Craig Harvey, Chief Coroner Investigator & Chief of Operations, tells me: “We do not hold anything back except that which we are entitled to by law.” “EXCEPT” is the operative word. Meaning, at present, they are omitting what they can legally for strategic purposes.

The defense is now complaining about not receiving all the records for proper discovery, and allegedly already threatening to file for a mistrial. One omission is the Reagan Medical Center report and other medical records from Jackson private doctors. On February 20, the media announced that Joe Jackson and his personal forensic expert were given access to this material, but are forbidden to disclose any of it.

On the subject of possible serious pre-existing medical conditions: given MJ’s symptoms over the years, I discuss three possible causes the defense might concentrate on: lupus, alpha- antitrypsin deficiency, and AIDS. Dr. Klein diagnosed MJ with discoid lupus (and associated Vitiligo) in the late ‘80s. Critic MJMedia09 (Comment 38), who calls himself “the foremost expert on MJ,” generically attributes MJ’s symptoms to “lupus.” But the symptoms he mentions are of systemic lupus erythematosus, a different and far more dangerous and debilitating condition.

As for AAD or AIDS, I NEVER wrote or implied that MJ definitely had one or the other; I asked – as the defense may do — whether the coroner had investigated the POSSIBILITY of this or any other serious immunological condition.

Why the hysteria at the mention of the possibility of AIDS? Or that biographers have claimed MJ was gay, and so might have been at higher risk for the tragic disease? Are we still in the medieval ‘80s when gays were vilified and AIDS patients exiled like lepers? This is precisely why I mentioned Liberace: he refused to reveal his condition because he was petrified of homophobic denunciation and infamy.

Readers accuse me of implying outlandish things. A writer assumes responsibility for what he WRITES, not what hypersensitive or zealous fans INFER. In no way was it scurrilously “implied” or “suggested” that Ryan White infected MJ with the HIV virus (Ms. French (65). In no way, did I absurdly suggest that “someone who has a friend that died from AIDS means that the person also has AIDS” (Dr. Mmlj (41)

Why then were Liberace, Freddie Mercury, and Ryan mentioned? Their AIDS deaths showed Michael first hand the ravages of the disease, and in the case of his fellow superstar, Liberace, the professional damage and stigma. Jackson family friend, Michael Tucker, told Randy Taraborrelli, “Of all diseases, AIDS is the one the Michael is most sensitive about.” So, after Ryan’s death, he had himself tested for HIV (see Taraborrelli, p. 438).

But many MJ fans, here and elsewhere, call Taraborrelli a liar. Other biographers (Stacy Brown, Bob Jones, Ian Halperin, Darwin Porter, Diane Dimond, Maureen Orth, et al) who make claims they don’t like are called liars, as well. Each writer is accused of being a slanderous money-grubber who is maliciously circulating not a few lies, but an entire book of lies. Yet Michael, who has sued and been sued more than any other entertainer in history, never filed a libel action against any of them. Anyway, it seems that fans believe one and only one person regarding Michael Jackson: Michael Jackson himself.

But is the star truly the gold standard of truth? In his autobiography, Moon Walk, Michael writes: “I’d like to set the record straight now… my nose was altered twice and I recently added a cleft to my chin, but that’s it. Period.” He told Oprah Winfrey, Martin Bashir, and others the same. Professional plastic surgeons estimate that he had fifty procedures or more. Who’s telling the truth? He many times insisted that he didn’t bleach his skin. Truly? He stated that he was a sperm donor for his fair-complexioned children and that Blanket’s mother was black. Really?

Another reader (62) asks why, if Taraborrelli was “soooo close” to MJ, that his biography was unauthorized. Obviously because MJ didn’t want him exposing what he did. In fact, Taraborrelli’s literary agent stated that MJ offered him $2 million dollars to cancel his publishing contract. But MJ fans will likely call this yet another malicious lie.

Ian Halperin seems now to have topped Diane “Devil” Dimond on the MJ fan hate list. Virtually everything he writes in Unmasked is dismissed as a lie. But he concludes that MJ was innocent of molestation charges. Don’t fans agree? He writes that MJ was in desperately poor health and had six months to live. Another lie? Jackson died exactly six months later. A coincidence? Or was Halperin part of the murder plot suspected by many MJ fans?

Halperin is the first biographer to state that MJ handlers told him MJ suffered from Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency and might need a lung transplant. I identified this as a “virulent” disease. Dr. Mllj (41), “appalled at my erroneous medical information” misidentifies the condition as “Anti-Trypsin 1 Deficiency’. Moreover, the doctor, for all her touted education, apparently mistakes the term “virulent” (meaning rapid, severe, destructive) with “viral.”

I’m well aware that AAD is genetic and never stated that it was “drug induced,” as another physician (Dr. Rodriguez (27) insists. She goes on to assert that I may need a “brain transplant” and should not be “writting” though one might suggest she herself learn to read more carefully and to spell (chornic, resucitative, recomendations, relects).

A third physician of the group, Martha (56), might also refresh her reading skills. She charges that I have “attempted to diagnose MJ of AIDS posthumously because Ian Halperin suspected him of being gay.” I wrote nothing of the kind! I simply stated a well-established fact: a gay man, or blood transfusion recipient such as Ryan White, is at higher risk for contracting the HIV virus.

The doctor goes on to declare that “most people with full blown AIDS are so debilitated they can hardly function without assistance.” Indeed, Jackson was often seen in wheelchairs and being carried by his bodyguards. Several nights before the final Staples performance, he collapsed on stage. True, he was animated on the last night. But on arrival he was reportedly listless and faltering – then he perked up. How? Medications can be used for this, as the doctor knows. MJ had availed himself of these chemical aids in the past, as have many other performers. Ephedrine, associated with amphetamine, was listed in the autopsy report.

But maybe it was mostly just “pure will” that saw MJ through that performance, as it had with the 67-year-old ailing Liberace in 1986. Three months before his death, Mr. Showmanship, suffering from full-blown AIDS, performed a series of electrifying concerts at Radio City. Wrote his companion and biographer, Scott Thorson: “He had no way of knowing if he’d be able to complete the agreed-on number of shows.” But as it turned out: “Lee was at the top of his form, full of energy and good spirits.”

“It was one of the extraordinary feats of entertainment history,” agreed another Liberace biographer, Darden Asbury Pyron. “Its heroism has few parallels… The showman was running on pure will… He had lost perhaps 50 pounds, yet still he hoofed with the Rockettes… The physical feat of flying onto stage [as Peter Pan] would have taxed the stamina of a young, healthy actor.” So, Liberace showed that it wasn’t “Impossible,” as Dr. Mmlj insists, to perform energetically in such a condition with or without stimulants.

The doctor goes on to insist that “lack of narcotics in his system shows that he was no longer dependent on narcotics.” Is the term “narcotic” being used narrowly to indicate opiates? For laymen, the dictionary generally defines narcotic as any drug that “dulls the senses, relieves pain, and induces sleep.” Wouldn’t this definition fit six of the seven controlled substances the coroner found in MJ system: propofol, lidocaine, diazepam, nordiazepam, lorazepam, midazolam (versed)? As for other signs of possible drug abuse, Dr. Mmlj speculates that the “several puncture wounds” reported by the coroner were from the resuscitation injections administered by Dr. Murray and/or paramedics. In fact, the report states: “There are numerous punctures over both arms. Additional punctures are present on the medial left and the medial right ankle.” So, it was more than “several.” And the resuscitative flumazenil is injected into the chest, not the appendages.

Dr. Martha (56) supports her colleague with this argument: “If MJ had been a chronic drug addict, why was his liver disease and toxin free?” Perhaps because the coroner and toxicologist failed to perform a full battery of liver tests or, if they did so, the information might be withheld from the current report. Again, this was the central thrust of my argument: there seems reason to believe the current autopsy report is incomplete and/or misleading. This may also account for the fact that the report made no mention of antiretrovirals in MJ’s system.

A concluding note… Show Michael some respect, say many, let him rest in peace. The fact is, he WOULD BE left in peace if not for upcoming trial which will dig him up and subject him to a scrutiny as microscopic and unpleasant as any trial when he was alive.

WHO is demanding this trial? Michael’s family and fans who want to see Murray convicted of manslaughter (though many want him for murder). The doctor’s defense lawyers have pledged “to fight like hell” for his exoneration. They will do anything and everything to prove self-destructive drug addiction on MJ’s part, as well as pre-existing potentially fatal medical conditions. This will mean challenging the veracity of the autopsy report.

The issues introduced in my article are the tip of the iceberg. Fans want Murray punished, but justifiably they do not want Michael dissected and desecrated. This is impossible. The trial will get ugly. Murray will surely get bloodied, and perhaps convicted. But, in the process, Michael and his memory will not be left unscathed. Fans should brace themselves for the downside of their demand for “justice.”

  • Karin

Mr Comfort, what don’t you understand about the official cause of death “Acute Propofol Intoxication”? This unfortunately is the reality and I think you are in denial. Michael did not have HIV or Aids or any other disease which caused his death. He died of a massive dose of Propofol. Other drugs may have expedited the process but the Propofol killed him. To speculate on HIV is irrelevant and completely unnecessary because it did not cause his death and the autopsy report does not mention it. Your theory is just that, your theory, and I and many other commenters here obviously don’t concur with you.

  • John

Call me crazy, but I see all the hostility and venom coming not from this author but from the we-are-the-world Jackson lovers-not-fighters.

  • TwistedV

There is no evidence whatsoever that Jackson died from an AIDs related disease. The autopsy clearly shows that he died from propofol intoxication.

There was enough propofol in his body to tranquilise a horse. The doctor admits giving Jackson the propofol.

There is no room for speculation. The results of the autopsy could not show anymore clearly that the cause of death was propofol intoxication.

This entire article has no evidential basis whatsoever. It is baseless and irresponsible speculation.

  • Cheryl

Mr Comfort, Youre response is not clearing up anything just adding insult to injury . Again you are insulting people who dare challenge your theories for calling them
You say that its MJ fans and family want this trial, thats why there is a trial

  • Deborah Ffrench

Mr Comfort’s ridiculously generalized assumptions about those who question the fact-jumping and speculation in his blog are – I suspect, more to do with his own personal insecurities about his credibility than anything else.

Insulting those who draw attention to the factual licence taken here also casts serious doubts on the integrity of this piece.

If Mr Comfort feels he can truthfully stand by the viability of his claims, he should be able to stand a little reciprocal comment after making the decision to post his opinion on the web.

The ruffling of feathers aside; the backtracking in Mr Comfort’s latest response reveals he is no more enlightened about whether or not Mr Jackson carried the AIDS virus than any layman.

In truth, this is why he includes the names of three people Jackson knew – who also died of AIDS, in his argument. This device is called ‘association’, and it is the cheapest, easiest way to set up an unconscious suggestion in the reader’s mind that because X knew Y and Z – that X may have also died the same way as Y and Z.

Many people test for AIDS. It’s good sexual practice and everyone in mid-80’s America through to now, was – and are, encouraged to do it.

Let me state categorically: There is no evidence that I, or Mr Comfort knows of, to support the notion that Mr Jackson carried the AIDS virus.

And this is my issue with this blog.

Mr Comfort takes the various symptoms of the autoimmune diseases Jackson has already been confirmed as suffering from, and attempts to build an entirely spurious set of conjectures about the cause of Mr Jackson’s death from that.

The cause of Mr Jackson’s death has already been narrowed to defined parameters of being found to have had lethal levels of Propofol in his system when he died.

    Dr. Zeev Kain:

Chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine, who reviewed a copy of the autopsy report, said: “(His) overall health was fine. The results are within normal limits.”

Mr Comfort screams in capitalization (never a good idea), that he assumes responsibilty for his words.

    I now do the same.

From his blog and Mr Comfort’s thoroughly unprofessional, retaliatory comments; it’s clear that this latest contribution to the wealth of nonsense written about Mr Jackson should be viewed as the uninformed, attention-seeking piece of salacious opinion it will be remembered as.

You state correctly that in the impending trial, things “will get ugly.”

May I suggest Mr Comfort, with this piece – that they already have.

  • Susan

WOW! You’d think somebody’s just dissed Jesus, Moses, or Mohammad. And none of these guys had a child or drug abuse problem. Get a grip folks and defend a real savior.

  • Deborah Ffrench

Michael Jackson was not a saviour (UK spelling) – Susan.

    He was a human being.

    And that should be remembered.

  • Cheryl

mr Comfort,Your response is not clearing up anything, just adding insult to injury. Again you are insulting people who dare challenge your theories. So many words cant hide that you still have no evidence whatsoever. And it doent help much to come up with tabloid dirth clearly intended to pile up as much negativity about MJ as possible that it might confuse some simpletons into thinhking that there must be some truth to your story. Classic manipulative media strategy. Like your claim that there is a trial because his family and fans want it . Last time i checked it was a homicide.

    What a waste of time.

  • TwistedV

The assertion that Murray is being prosecuted at the fans’ behest is hilarious. Jackson’s body was full of propofol and the doctor admitted giving it to him. He’s standing trial for that reason, and that reason alone.

There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that Jackson died of anything other than acute propofol intoxication. There was enough in his system to put out a man twice his size.

The suggestion that Jackson died of AIDS is simply not supported by any evidence. This article is nothing more than irresponsible speculation.

  • Barrett Sharp

I’m not a great MJ fan but there’s no way the man had HIV.

If he did, it would have certainly shown in his autopsy and the coroner’s report from his blood work and other bodily fluids and certainly the yellow press would have been all over it like white on rice.

Of all the ignorant garbage I’ve seen written about the man, this is one of the most ignorant things I’ve read. It’s pure innuendo and speculation.

The man was not gay. He very much liked women. I’ve had the opportunity to watch him as HE watches women. I’m a man. He was a MAN. Straight as an arrow.

And women loved him. Please get over it.

Come on. What kind of a “writer” are you Mr. Comfort- For example,You write- “according to his biographer, Ian Halperin, as well as several others – he was gay”
Sigh. You call this research? You call this professional writing? Seriously? Any piece that is written so full of unsubstantiated innuendo, and a lot of “someone said this” and “someone else unnamed said that” is truly not worth reading and the author of such drivel is not worth arguing with. I would like to ask What your motivations are to label Mr. Jackson as gay? Now that is something worth delving into Mr. Comfort. C’mon- what is your real motivation Mr. Comfort? Got a little agenda to push there dear? Let it out. Tell the truth. Don’t go hidin behind all that silly little innuendo stuff you love so well. Fess up- You want people to believe Jackson was gay because YOU are and if you can get people to believe this amazing and talented man was gay that makes you feel better about yourself doesn’t it? But living in your fantasy world and trying to drag others into this fluffy pink world of yours is another story altogether. Give up journalism dear. It truly doesn’t suit you and you are really so transparent.

It’s so sad that I cannot get back the 10 minutes I spent reading this nonsense. The mere fact that you use Stacy Brown, Arnold Klein, Ian Halperin and Joe Jackson as reliable sources of information speaks for the validity of this blog. The internet provides everyone access to express themselves. However, it does not protect people from libel and you sir should be sued for libel. Clearly, and I do mean clearly, you have no knowledge of Michael Jackson prior to the events of June 25, 2009 and apparently you rushed to read anything from anyone claiming to be an “insider”. That being said, a quick Google search on lupus and its treatment and the sustained physiological effects of long term narcotic abuse could have answered many questions for you. Lupus patients are prescribed analgesics at a higher rate than most patients and doctor’s ignore the potential for addiction because the therapeutic effect is for the greater good. As for drug addiction, you really didn’t have to site the non-Michael Jackson “insider” Stacy Brown, Michael himself admitted drug addiction and if you did your research you know that many in the media didn’t believe him at the time. Now when it suits their purpose, this man was a raging drug addict. The condition of his major organs during his autopsy would discredit that theory.
The difference in his weight is no big conspiracy. The police department did not weigh him. They took down his weight either given to them verbally or taken from his driver’s license (which he provided the weight). Perhaps Michael believed he was 120lbs when clearly he was not. I dont even know if it is possible for the skeletal structure and organs of a man of his height to weigh 112 by themselves alone (not including water content and fat). If you had done your research, you would know that Michael was as small if not smaller during most of the 1980’s. The coroner may not have given and AIDS test but you better believe the insurance company that insured him for ALL of his tours did. The mere mentions of Ryan White and Liberace clearly indicates that you want the reader to jump to some conclusion that Jackson had some sort of sexual relationship with these men and acquired AIDS. JMO, you must have taken this assumption from Stacy Brown, Arnold Klein and Ian Halperin because clearly these men have some sort of man-crush/obsession with Jackson. This blog is so full of lies, gossip, misnomer and bias that anyone reading this can only come to the conclusion that the author is either tragically misinformed or so eager to garner traffic to this site that he would tackle a subject that he clearly knows little about.

Despite everything I mentioned previously, what really pisses me off is that Michael Jackson worked to earn everything he achieved from the time he was 5 years old until literally the day he died. No one gave him anything, he couldn’t ride on the coattails of a famous relative and he could not depend on mainstream media support. He was even told by a very well known magazine that they dont put blacks on the cover of their magazine because they dont sell. Well, how quickly they turn. I am so sick of these hacks and wanna be personalities/”journalists” exploiting this man’s legacy to make a quick name for themselves. Just as the legal profession and medicine has a code of ethics, journalism has an ethical responsibility to the public. Journalism is dead and we have been watching its long troubling demise for years now. It is more than a bit ironic that one of the last true journalists, Walter Cronkite, died the same year as MJ. May they both rest in peace.

  • Alaysha

    to jeffreydes,
I agree with you for the most part. No one will ever find me defending Jackson’s well constructed public image. Those who truly knew him state that Michael Jackson was 180 degrees different from the Michael Jackson character. Those familar with his story know that Jackson himself orchestrated the initial Wacko Jacko image for publicity and once it was unleashed, it grew beyond his ability to control and manipulate. Knowing the history of the entertainment business, I understand (don’t agree with) why he did it. But like all things, you have to live with the consequences. So I have absolutely no problem with people calling him strange, etc. because some of his public actions are indefensible to a rational person. For the most part I found them odd and mostly harmless ala Lady Gaga or Davie Bowe. However, there is a problem when someone alludes to suggestions of AIDS and other things not proven by facts. Hell Joe Jackson is claiming the mafia killed his son so if you use a source as reliable you take all things said by them to be true, or you take nothing. As far as drug use, Jackson himself admitted drug addiction at one time so I dont understand the controversy there. What I dont get is why columnists(I refuse to use the label journalist until proven) fail to mention that Jackson was diagnosed with lupus (can be found in court transcripts) and lupus patients are administered massive amounts of analgesics, particularly during flare ups. The fact is, Jackson never spoke publically about lupus so the public didnt know when he was experiencing a flare-up and many would suggest his family wouldn’t know either. As far as the gay suggestions, people really should grow up. No adult should be put in a position where they feel the need to respond to such a question. Jackson has said that he was not gay that should be the end of it. Why would it be in anyone’s interest to prove him right or wrong? Some people need to go and have some sex themselves and stop being so nosey.
So once again, I do agree some fans try to defend silly things that are indefensible and that takes away from their credibility. However, not all fans are “idol worshippers” and actually site facts when discussing issues that attack Jackson’s character and are based on unproven claims. I didn’t even want to get into the idea that the LAPD and the LA coroner’s office are in cahoots to suppress evidence in order to win a high profile case. Would that mean they also helped Murray administer the propofol? You have to admit that is just laughable.

P.S. great posts Raven, you prompted me to post!

  • TwistedV

It is hilarious too that Comfort should attack Jackson’s fans for disliking Ian Halperin.

Halperin’s book is full of proven lies. He claimed to have seen Jackson’s O2 contract and said the star was signed to perform for less than 20 minutes per night.

The actual contract leaked later on and showed that Jackson was signed to play for a minimum of 80 minutes per night. The ‘This Is It’ documentary served as further proof that Halperin had lied.

Halperin also claimed that Jackson’s lung disease was so severe he couldn’t sing or dance (disproved by the film) and that he needed a transplant (disproved by the autopsy).

He further alleged that Jackson was too weak to undergo a transplant, whilst the autopsy found that he was in good general health.

Halperin’s biog is riddled with proven lies. That Comfort would try to defend the book or its author shows just how little he knows about his subject.

Note to self: ALWAYS include “Michael Jackson” in essays and articles.

  • Jensen Bergmark

    Deborah Ffrench

    Marry me.

  • Holly

It would seem that at this point in time all of these negative articles are being written FOR Michael Jackson’s fans to read, because we are ALL that is left reading them.

It is starting to seem sick

  • Gil

What was done to Michael Jackson by a lazy, ratings-driven media and a corrupt DA was sick.

Now, Mr Comfort cynically attempts to autopsy Michael Jackson a third time, but he has neither the skill or the goods to deliver on what he promises.

He didn’t make the case. By miles.

And if he had any grace he’d admit it.

    Comment 3, Mr Comfort?

  • Deborah Ffrench

    Exposed.

  • Karin

An afterthought Mr Comfort. If Michael Jackson was “gay” as alluded to, then why did Mad Dog Sneddon with his army of enforcers tearing Neverland Ranch apart find NOTHING BUT GIRLY MAZAGIZES. Now nobody would have derived more pleasure in a find of virile gay men magazines than Sneddon but guess what, their best efforts turned up NOTHING BUT PENTHOUSE, PLAYBOYS AND THE LIKE.

Now a single person in the privacy of their open bedroom is free to explore their sexual fantasies. This was the real and exposed Michael Jackson and guess what, he was not much different to most other guys – he enjoyed a good female turn on.

You’ve got to admit that any author who relies on citing “unnamed sources” for their own protection cannot be taken as credible and this is exactly what Halperin does. Readers want to read facts if they are going to part with their money for a biography and Halperin produces no credible evidence except undisclosed sources. Therefore his book is a novel and nothing else.

  • Craig

    ^^

They did find gay porn mags at Neverland. something people coveniently seem to brush over.

  • TwistedV

    No they didn’t.

  • Deborah Ffrench

If one reads the court transcripts, they reveal that the LAPD found a couple of legal art books which are still available to the public to this day.

Most of those were still in their sealed plastic wrapping, having never been opened. They were in cardboard boxes. Jackson had bought a large number of books at auction and never even opened the boxes.

They only found two art books unwrapped.

The first had an inscription inside it which showed that it was given to Jackson by a fan. The second he’d written his own inscription in about the magic of childhood.

But Jackson didn’t have to justify owning art books anyway, and nobody has to justify it for him either. They were legal art books which are still on the market for any member of the public to buy.

What is true, is that the overwhelming nature of the porn found at Neverland was heterosexual – and there was lots of it.

As one might imagine, this so-called evidence of ‘deviance’ that the prosecution entered into the court, actually worked in Jackson’s favour, as it established that he was heterosexual.

It should also be noted that this porn was not readily accessible, but was locked and out of reach from all but the most determined sexually aware teenagers.

    And just for the record:

No child porn was found either.

I can assure you Craig, no-one is ‘brushing over’ anything, or trying to excuse any criminal wrongdoing.

But it’s clear that it is the persistence of inaccurately reported misinformation and repeated hearsay, that perpetuates the myth of Jackson as a molester.

I am more than happy to go through the court transcripts with anyone, if they are genuinely interested in the truth, and not just ‘venting’ on the web.

You might also want to head to this link below.

British journalist, Charles Thomson, who has been following the events in Michael Jackson’s life for some time, writes here at this link and at his website about the Jackson myths that have been sustained by lazy and badly-sourced reporting in the media – as well as the unoffical collusion of the DA’s office at the time of the trial.

It makes for interesting, if depressing reading.

  • Craig

I´m sure there was Gay porn in there somewhere.

What about his connection to Marc Schaffell? A gay porn director, who was suspected of importing boys from eastern europe for his sex videos? Some in the gay community said he was also indulging with those boys.

That´s quite a dubious link. After finding out about Schaffels past, MJ sacked him, but then re-hired him.

  • Craig

Some of the porn found at Neverland:

The second book was…Camp Cove – Photos Sydney Men… the book
was a compilation of naked and semi-naked men…

…The third book was…titled Dressup: Playacts and Fantasies of
Childhood….This book appeared to be a compilation of photographs
that appeared to depict either pre-teen or early teen age
individuals. Some of the pictured children were nude and/or
    semi-nude.

…Item Number 304. This item was described as being two
pornographic magazines and two nude art books found in the master
bathroom at the Neverland Ranch….The Gynoids appeared to
have a fetish (bondage, sadomasochism, piercings, etc.) related theme.

…Item number 307…a book, which contained nude photographs of
    men…found in the master bathroom…titled Bidgood…a compilation
of photographs of nude and semi-nude men.

  • Craig

I´ve just found this- quite shocking stuff:

    5. Check out the drug stuff. It’s well known that MJ has a substance
abuse problem, and that he’s hooked on Xanax. Look at all the
prescriptions found in other people’s names. Note that his bestest,
most favorite DERMATOLOGIST buddy doctor – Dr. Arnold Klein – wrote
a prescription for Xanax for MJ’s dear friend Frank Tyson, which was
found in MJ’s possession. What’s a dermatologist doing writing a
    scrip for mood-altering drug?
Also note that a Las Vegas physician wrote two other scrips for
Xanax, *neither* of which were in MJ’s name, but both of which were
    found in his possession.
And Dr. Klein wrote another prescription for another person whose
given address was actually that of a television production company!
Plus the syringe. Plus the ‘unidentified substance’ which was sent
off to the state lab for testing.
Plus the letter from MJ’s physician about detox programs.
Put it all together and what do you get?

    Here we go:

Item number 301…five DVD media covers…the covers indicated the

contents were films from the Hustler ‘Barely Legal’ series…

…Item number 302 was described as a pornographic magazine located

within the master bathroom at the Neverland Ranch residence. …I

found it to be a periodical entitled, ‘The Best of Club’…

…Item number 303..three books that contained nude photographs,
found in the master bedroom within the Neverland Ranch…

…the first book was… titled Scenes D’Interieur…The book
consisted of a compilation of photographs of nude and/or semi-nude
    women, in sexually explicit poses.

…The second book was…Camp Cove – Photos Sydney Men… the book
was a compilation of naked and semi-naked men…

…The third book was…titled Dressup: Playacts and Fantasies of
Childhood. …This book appeared to be a compilation of photographs
that appeared to depict either pre-teen or early teen age
individuals. Some of the pictured children were nude and/or
    semi-nude.

…Item Number 304. This item was described as being two
pornographic magazines and two nude art books found in the master
bathroom at the Neverland Ranch. …The Gynoids appeared to
have a fetish (bondage, sadomasochism, piercings, etc.) related theme.

…Item number 305…a photograph of Macauley Culkin, which was
    located in the master bathroom…

…Item number 306…a pornographic magazine located within a metal
brief case in the master bathroom…

…Item number 307…a book, which contained nude photographs of
    men…found in the master bathroom…titled Bidgood…a compilation
of photographs of nude and semi-nude men.

  • Craig

The following describes the contents of Item Number 309. Note all
this stuff jumbled together. MJ kept a letter from a teacher asking
to bring kids to Neverland alongside his porn! Along with a syringe
and another fan letter – plus other items I didn’t include in this
    summary — HellT>

…Item Number 309…a black leather bag, which contained
    pornographic magazines and pornographic DVDs.

…Within a separate compartment within this front portion of the
    briefcase…a 5cc syringe (no needle).

…On the reverse side of the briefcase was a compartment that
contained miscellaneous loose papers and envelopes.

…There was a postcard depicting young boys (clothed) lined up at a
    urinal.

…The main compartment contained miscellaneous paperwork,
pornographic periodicals…and two DVD cases that appeared to
contain pornographic material…the first DVD was titled Michael
Ryan’s Believe It Or Not…the second DVD was titled Sloppy Dogs
Presents: Fuck Me, I’m A Bad Girl.

    …a letter from a student Councilor/Teacher…wrote of a
desire to bring a group of children to California for the purposes
    of meeting with Michael Jackson.

…a greeting card from Erma J. Lardydell…the writer indicated she
sang with Michael Jackson and provided the name of her son, Prince
Alba, who was thirteen years of age…

…The final items within this compartment were the May 2002 issue
of Gallery and the September 2002 issue of Gallery.

Item Number 313…a book that contained nude photographs. This item
was located in the master bathroom…This book was titled Naked As A
Jaybird…some of the pictures depicted sexually explicit activities.

…Item Number 505. This item was described as being three books
with photographs of nude and partially clothed children. This item
was found in the downstairs cellar area of the video/arcade area.

  • Craig

Item number 508…a book depicting nude children…titled The Fourth
Sex, Adolescent Extremes…some of the pictures depicted individuals
wearing no clothing, or in a state of partial dress…

Item Number 509…a book…titled Cronos…the book appeared to be a
compilation of numerous photographs depicting men, women, and
children of both sexes…the majority of the photographs depicted
the subjects completely unclothed, including the male and female
    children…

…Item Number 510…two bags of miscellaneous underclothes and
bloodied bed linen…located in the upstairs library room of the
video/arcade area. The Disneyland bag contained a red Prada brand,
long-sleeve shirt…I also found the bag to contain a white cotton
sheet with reddish brown stains on it, which I believed were
consistent with blood staining. The Garden City Hotel bag had a
white Harbor Bay long-sleeved cotton shirt; a folded cotton bed
sheet…and numerous pairs of size 30 cotton briefs…in total,
there were nine pair of men’s cotton brief underwear. Some of the
briefs had discolorations and/or stains, but all pairs appeared to
    have been washed.

Item number 514…the glass vial…seemed to contain remnants of a
    substance…submitted to the California…Crime Laboratory…

Item Number 515…medicine bottles, found in the upstairs library
room of the video arcade area…four prescription bottles…

…the first bottle indicated the prescription was prescribed to a
subject named Michael Armstrong…the prescription was for Percocet…

…the second bottle…to Peter Midani…it should be noted this
address was also associated with a

Hills…prescribed this medication…The prescription was for
    Alprazolam …

Item Number 518…prescription paperwork…a prescription for Frank
Tyson…for Alprazolam…prescribing physician was Dr. William
    VanValin…a prescription for a Manuel Rivera…for Xanax…the
prescribing physician was a Dr. William VanValin.

Item Number 349…paperwork found within the master
bathroom…letter is addressed to ‘Dearest MJ’…the letter
indicated it was from Dr. Farshchian…The letter pertains to a
    ‘program’ for outpatient detoxification…

Item Number 1001…Barely Legal magazine…found in the
    museum/office area…

Item number 1002…a magazine, found in the museum/office area…the
December 2002 issue of ‘Naughty Neighbors’…

What you’ve just listed are prescribed drugs, legal art books and adult heterosexual porn mags.

No child porn and no gay porn mags.

  • Craig

I don´t know about you, but as a hetrosexual I do not have these sort of books under my bed. I´m not homophobic whatsoever, it makes no difference to me if he was gay, bi, or hetro- but there surely is some case to answer with these??????

I´m sorry it doesn´t fit in with the rosy story certain people are trying to re-write-post MJ´s death, but facts are facts.

“The second book was…Camp Cove – Photos Sydney Men… the book
was a compilation of naked and semi-naked men…

Also, if the drugs were totally legal, why did he get them prescribed -by his bent doctor Klein- in aliase names?

  • TwistedV

The drugs are irrelevant to the point you are making, which is inaccurate.

You claimed that they found ‘gay porn mags’ at Neverland. They did not.

I’m quite perplexed by your argument that because you are straight and don’t own these books, that means no other straight man would ever own them.

The books are legitimate art/photography collections which you can still purchase today. They are not classed as pornography and they are certainly not illegal.

Therefore they are irrelevant to the allegations against Jackson and they prove nothing.

  • Craig

    “Camp cove: Photo´s Sydney Men”

    Is artistic?

They are irrelevant to the allegations against him, you are correct. But they are not irrelevant to the argument that he may of been bi or homosexual.

  • Craig

Quick glance at a review of “Camp Cove”

“Rod McRae is a gay photo artist who scores a hit with gay town Sydney, a fun place with fab lookers for sure. Rod lenses all these guys with his fluid creations: you-and-me guys, hot boardwalk strutters, feral and sexy, posing in Rod’s fantastic studio or some fearsomely beautiful outdoor place like Camp Cove.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that doesn´t indicate that Michael Jackson had an interest in men?

  • TwistedV

Being bisexual or homosexual is not the same as being a paedophile, so it would still be irrelevant.

Besides, the handful of homoerotic art books is dwarfed by the enormous number of legal, adult, heterosexual pornography that Jackson owned.

  • TwistedV

Are you seriously trying to tell me that owning hundreds of heterosexual porn mags – compared to an extremely small number of homoerotic art books – doesn’t indicate Jackson was heterosexual?

  • Deborah Ffrench

    Addressing the Schaffel issue first:

It is very well known what Marc Schaffel was paid for.

The ‘producing fees’ were in relation to three projects. He produced the music video for Jackson’s single ‘What More Can I Give’ and he produced two documentaries for ‘Take 2′ and ‘Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies’.

Jackson and Schaffel then fell out when, amongst other things, Schaffel sold the rights to the charity project WMCIG for $1 million to a Japanese company and kept half of it for himself. The transaction was negotiated between Schaffel and Tokyo-based Music Fighters Corporation, three months after Jackson’s advisors fired Schaffel when they learned that he was tied to the gay pornography business.

Schaffel was rehired – erroneously in my opinion, in the wake of the Bashir programme to film the Rebuttal video, mainly because he was known to Jackson’s existing advisers and they were wary of involving new people in the inner circle at Neverland in what was a highly pressured situation.

    Now, the porn.

During trial, the court was shown a comphrehensive selection of pornographic DVDs, magazines and books seized by police during their searches of Neverland. These included topless women in suggestive poses, leather, poles and all the rest of it.

    Firstly:

    All the porn was legal.

    Secondly:

There may well have been one or two so-called homosexually toned (again this is subjective) items that slipped throught the net, but the overwhelming majority of the pornography was heterosexual.

Clearly this reflected Jackson’s sexual orientation.

The reason for the presence of homosexual porn (if again, an item were to be determined as such) may be more ordinary than we imagine:

1: It is likely Mr Jackson could not simply slip out and buy his own porn, so he must have sent staff member(s)to buy it. Thus, it could easily have been picked up as part of a wide selection.

2: The pornography were online purchases and the company ‘threw’ it in – especially if it was a bulk order.

In any case it was proved in court – if you read the transcripts, that many of the pornography magazine issues that Gavin and Star alleged Mr jackson had shown them, were in fact not published until after the molestation was alleged to have happened.

    This means the boys lied.

So I have to ask, why does the porn matter?

Michael Jackson freely said that he slept on the floor while the two boys ” had the bed”, so the nature of the locked-up porn that he denied ever showing to the boys is immaterial.

There seems to a huge need by some to prove that Jackson was gay, yet there is no evidence to support this belief.

It is also totally irrelevant to compare what one heterosexual man considers a lot of porn and against another’s. Sexuality is a very individual thing.

And if the dominant preponderence of heterosexual porn at Neverland demonstrates anything – it is that Mr Jackson was deeply heterosexual.

  • Craig

I have never said he molested any child. That´s not the point I´m making. So to be clear- I am not saying he molested any children- got it?

My point is, that the for someone to deny that MJ had an interest in men, when they found homoerotic art books named “Camp Cove” is laughable and desperate.

Árt books- yes art books, doesn´t mean he didn´t use them for sexual gratification. Also, you seem to be missing the glaringly obvious fact, that in the Hetrosexual porn there are also MEN in states of sexual arousal.

Maybe he was embarrassed to get his people to buy him gay porn?

  • Deborah Ffrench

    Clearly we don’t agree.

    The porn was predominantly heterosexual.

This need that some people have to believe that Jackson was gay, is linked to a need to believe that the context is which he had sleepovers with children was sexual.

It is perhaps an understandable belief.

    But it is still erroneous.

    Jackson was heterosexual.

  • TwistedV

Nobody is denying the art books. They’re putting them into perspective.

One the one hand you have a very small number of arguably homoerotic art books. On the other hand you have hundreds of heterosexual porn magazines.

  • Craig

Deborah, on what basis are you judging Michael Jackson to be hetrosexual?

I have no need to believe MJ was gay, I´m just curious, and would like a fair appraisal of the evidence.

And again you miss the fact that Hetrosexual porn contains MEN in states of sexual arrousal.

I can imagine MJ would of been embarrassed to ask for homo porn- out of shame placed on him from his Jehova´s witness upbringing. He had no credit cards, and so couldn´t buy mags on the internet.

  • TwistedV

Who says the heterosexual porn Jackson owned included men in states of arousal?

They were described by the prosecution as ‘girlie magazines’.

  • Craig

Barely Legal is a hardcore porn mag, which features men and women having sex. Full on erections / ejaculation shots etc.

They were a lot stronger than “girlie mags”

  • Craig

    ^

    The same goes for Hustler.

  • Deborah Ffrench

    What does this debate serve?

The overwhelming predominance of porn found at Neverland was heterosexual.

Your statement about Jackson being ashamed to ask for homosexual porn is also quite a leap, as it is highly unlikely he would have bought his own porn.

Jackson had stated in various interviews over the years that he was ‘straight’, and while there is no evidence of homosexual relationships in his history, there is evidence of heterosexual ones.

  • Craig

I think your assumption that he was hetrosexual was quite a leap.

Michael said a lot of things in his life- a lot of things that can be provenly seen to be lies. In fact, to say he was a compulsive liar wouldn´t be too far away from the truth; not that I blame him- he was taught to be that way for the sake of his image.

  • layoff

I didn’t even finish reading this crap. Now I know why Michael spent most of his life abroad. america, land of the free press. A source is nothing but your opinion.
Somthing else for the simple minded to believe. Go suck an egg.

  • Deborah Ffrench

Inevitably, we have now reached a point where this debate has become circular, and you are simply repeating my words back to me Craig.

I do not assume anything about Jackson. I am only interested in facts.

The overwhelming majority of the porn found at Neverland, if not all of it – was heterosexually orientated. Therefore, the only thing that can be reasonably inferred from this fact- is that Jackson was heterosexual.

How little or how much surgery Jackson had, was his own affair. What business is it of mine what he did to his face?

I find it interesting that all the times Jackson genuinely opened up and spoke about vitiligo, how it affected his self-esteem and his ability to face the public, he was disbelieved. But now that the autopsies proved he actually did have vitiligo, suddenly the media and Jackson’s detractor have little or nothing to say on the matter.

Yet, when Jackson, self-protectively, chose not to disclose the full amount of surgeries he had in a few interviews – everyone jumps on it as if it’s proof he’s an inveterate liar. Who here on this entire post has shared their medical records with a film crew recently?

It’s time people started to understand and think for a moment about the enormous pressures Jackson faced during his life, and how those pressures translated into a greater dependence on drugs and surgery.

To try to seperate the traumatic events in Jackson’s life from the way the trajectory of his life developed – and ended, is to deny the reality of cause and effect.

There is not now, and never has been any evidence of sexual deviance on the part of Jackson – that could defy reasonable scrutiny.

But since when did that stop the endless speculation?

David Comfort is delusional, a very disturbed individual.

  • Deborah Ffrench

    Idol worship?

It is not the fans who are obsessed with Jackson, Mr Comfort.

That description is better exemplified by those who continue to peddle baseless nonsense about him in the public arena.

Calling anyone who doesn’t buy into the vested negative media narrative about Jackson – fans, is lazy and inappropriate name-calling.

And like your article – also wildly inaccurate.

If anyone wants to know the truth about the allegations back in 1993 as well as 2003 then purchase the book called Redemption by Mrs. Geraldine Hughes who happened to have been the legal secretary in the first case in 93. She is in the process of writing Michaelgate. See, MJ hired a bodyguard who supervised the children who came to Neverland and the kids slept in the bed while Michael slept on the floor in a sleeping bag. Even Martin Bashir admitted that he lied and took certain things out of context for his documentary.

I think that it is sad that Jordan Chandler waited until last November to say that Michael Jackson never molested him at all. I find it strange, disgusting, and most of all despicable that he waited until Michael passed away. See, Michael and no one else on this earth is perfect. However, I will say some things that have to be said. I believe even if and really and sincerely even if Michael had not had that horrible accident with his hair and the medication situation people would still hate on him.

He had vitilgo and it was documented yet the media and many others did not believe him until they heard about it in the autopsy. Strange. Hmmmm. Yeah yeah yeah. See, I do not understand how people can assume anything about anyone unless you actually and sincerely know them.

When the trial came out in 03, the prosecutor did not want to hear anything good about Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sneddon had a vendetta against MJ because he knew that this was a black man living in a predominately white county who happened to have money and oil was under the ground in Neverland.

I listen to a longtime Jackson family friend named Dick Gregory who is also a Civil Rights Icon. He and his family have known the Jackson family for years. So, they have inside info that the media seems to ignore, and I believe purposely.

Even Michael’s dermatologist said that Michael had vitiligo. His makeup artist Mrs. Karen Faye indicated it came after he made Thriller. What more do you all want who choose not to believe. Another doctor diagnosed MJ with Lupus. The cream Michael had was to even out the blotches and they are visible. I know a lady who has Vitiligo and it is true that this is a disease. People grow up and learn the truth. It is sad that Michael had to endure so much. I will give him his props cause you know what he never sang music with profanity in it, never sang about violence, shooting someone and devaluing humanity. Unlike many of the artists today. He also never went around with sagging pants like Lil Wayne. Give him his just dues. Everyone has something to deal with. If he made peace with people, God knows. God knew that he wanted to do these shows but not so many so close together. See, if Michael actually and truthfully said that he wanted ten shows and they needed to be spread out then they should have honored his request.

I am sorry but he had trouble sleeping because he had a sleeping disorder. He has had insomnia for years. I too know of people that truthfully have it as well. We do not understand. Like Dick Gregory said he was not an addict. The marks are from either paramedics or Dr. Murray when they attemped to resusciate him. I am glad that one media outlet has it right. Okay. By the way, go to youtube.com type in You Don’t KNow the Real Michael Jackson parts one of three and three of three are on there. Purchase Dick Gregory’s DVD called You Can’t Handle the Truth. I have it and it is excellent. He talks about the clause that Michael signed with Sony. Now, we understand like Mr.Oxman said how Michael was treated. If you all knew what the clause contained then you could not be so apt to speak.

I wish that the truth came out about the dirty deal that Mr. Sneddon the former DA gave Michael and favored the Arviso family instead. Go to http://www.reflectionsonthedance.com/Interview-Geraldine.Hughes. Think about it and you will all be shocked.

First and foremost, if you want to know the truth about Michael purchase the DVD by Civil Rights Icon Dick Gregory called You Can’t Handle the Truth. He came to Baltimore MD last year and he made a statement that is true for all of that supposed medicine that they say Michael was taking yet none of it was found in his system according to the autopsy. Even the nurse indicated that Michael was not a drug addict.

Michael did have Lupus and Vitiligo. Yet, Oprah Winfrey the “Queen of Daytime Talk” did not want to believe it. She will learn just like everyone else. The autopsy said there was no indication of years of drug use.

How why wont u guys let Michael Jackson rest in peace…. You guys are just saying a whole load of bullshit about the guy…
