Internet portal Lycos.com has announced it will launch a video portal this week. The service will be available at cinema.lycos.com and will allow synchronized watching using proprietary technology. Lycos hopes users will be able to upload content as early as later this year.

Researchers in Australia have designed a t-shirt that allows users to play guitar and make guitar-like sounds. The researchers used an array of sensors attached to an ordinary t-shirt. The sensors measure movement and allow the user to play chords with one hand and strum with the other, creating sounds like an MP3.
