Kilborn Alley Blues Band Release Four on Nov. 22

The award-winning Kilborn Alley Blues Band has finished work on their new album and will release Four on November 22 through Blue Bella Records.

Four is the first album from KABB since Better Off Now, an album that helped earn them a nomination for Band Of The Year from the Blues Foundation.

Nick Moss produced and mixed the record for KABB, who recorded this new set as a quartet: Andrew Duncanson (vocals, gtr), Josh Stimmel (guitar), Chris Breen (bass), Ed O’Hara (drums). There were a few guests on the record, including Gerry Hundt (harp), Vince Salerno (sax), and Travis Reed (organ). The 11-track set features all original material and sports the longest track the band has ever put on a studio record and an instrumental whose title refers to guitarist Stimmel’s fashion sense.

The band have already announced a string of shows to promote the album in advance of its release, swinging through the South before heading home to Illinois to headline some album release parties and participate in the Blue Star Benefit at Buddy Guy’s Legends club in Chicago.
