Beiber puts two albums on the album chart while Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" is #1 iTunes single...

Justin Bieber’s Worlds Collide at iTunes Music Store, Runaway Train Has #1 Single

All aboard!  The Soul Death Express, the world's fastest freight train to Hell, is pulling out of the station.  Our pneumatic tube to Hades has been cleared and it's full speed ahead.

I chose the railroad motif this week because your friends Train have the #1 single.  I thought they'd been dispatched a few years ago.  I really did.  History tells us there are second acts in music but I didn't think Train would be one of those bands to get one, and I was surprised by that.  "Hey, Soul Sister" is probably the first iTunes #1 single to feature a ukulele.

Speaking of the damnation motif, I imagine if you added Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus to Gaga and Beyonce, you'd have my vision of of the eight concentric circle of Dante's summer home.

As we segue to the albums sector, I am glad to say my 9-year old niece didn't get any help from me in making Justin Bieber's new album the #1 iTunes album.  That twerp has two albums in the chart.  Two albums, twice the soul death.  Shoot me now.
