Starbucks Record Label Releases McCartney Album

Starbucks Coffee’s record label, Hear Music, has released its first original recording, Paul McCartney’s Memory Almost Full. As part of the deal the album will be played in 29 countries on a loop in many Starbucks stores. The album will also be available to purchase in the store. Starbucks estimates that around 6 million customers will get to hear the album.

Ask.com Gets More Visual

Ask.com has announced that it is going to give more prominence to search results such as photos and video. The new service is being but together in order to better meet the needs of Ask.com’s users and will be called Ask3D. The service will divide results into three panels and a technology called Morph will assess what search categories the user might be interested in.

Stooges Join V Festival Line Up

The Stooges have announced that they will be joining the line up for the V Festival. The event that is held at Stafford and Chelmsford in the United Kingdom on August 18th and 19th will be headlined this year by The Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, and The Killers. Sinead O’Conner and Rodrigo y Gabriela have also joined the lineup.
