It’s that time of year — the boo!, the costumes, the candy, the bump in the night, the candy, the parties, the candy. Did I mention the candy?

Romantic Suspense author Dawn Brown writes gripping suspense and has taken the time to share a few Halloween moments with us, so before you grab a copy of Blood and Bone or Living Lies and your favorite sweet treats, let’s dish with Dawn.

What will you be for Halloween this year?

Same thing as last year. A mom.

Trick or treat?

Treat. Always the treat.

Worst Halloween costume as a kid?

A clown. It wasn’t scary enough.

Most memorable Halloween?

The first year I was too old to go trick-or-treating. My best friend and I stayed up late watching horror movies and eating my little brother’s candy.

Worst Halloween film you still watch… and love?

The Changeling

Hitchcock or blood and gore?

Halloween tradition?

Going to a pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. We do it every year.

Do you still watch It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown?

Of course. It’s not Halloween without it.
