Greg Graffin of Bad Religion and Preston Jones, a historian who specializes in religion, have partnered together to write Is Belief in God Good, Bad, or Irrelevant? The book is said to explore religion and its role in shaping public policy and society. It’s set to be released on July 30th by InterVarsity Press.
In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, Jeffrey Toback of Nassau County Legislature in New York has charged that Google has made billions of dollars by allowing child pornographers and other “obscene content” operators to advertise via Google’s sponsored links. Google has said that it prohibits child pornography and removes such content when it finds it or is otherwise made aware of it.
Hard-Fi will be supported by Billy Bragg in their five-night stint the London Brixton Academy. Frontman Richard Archer of Hard-Fi invited Bragg to play the shows with them. Bragg has recently re-released his early work in a seven-disc box set, “Billy Bragg Volume 1’’Powered by Sidelines
