The game has over 130 tracks of licensed music spread across twelve radio stations from rap, hip hop, rock to classical. You'll hear tracks from De La Soul, Method Man, Rich Medina, Clipse, Masta Ace, Little Brother, Editors, Jane's Addiction, Iggy Pop, and more.
Also found are custom songs recorded for Saints Row by Ghostface Killah, Rhymefest, David Banner, Xzibit, Daz Dillinger and more.
You also have an MP3 player to use in the game. This allows for listening to music on foot, as well as in the car. You can create custom playlists of music bought in the game, as well as listening to playlists made in the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
You get an audio experience that is much like GTA, but without the huge names in the music industry. It still sounds like a mix of radio stations you would find in a city, and has some great music.
Online Multiplayer
Going beyond refinement of a tried and true genre, Saints Row charges full force into online multiplayer. This is something that only PSP owners have had a taste of in the GTA series.
Standard death match and team death match is included, called "Gangsta Brawl." This is mindless fun, but is nothing special. There are three maps available, among other customizable options.
Changing the death match formula up is "Big Ass Chains." Here you are vying for the gold chains around your opponents’ necks. The more you can collect at once, and return to the pawnshop, the higher you score. This means a little strategy is required — do you go straight to the pawnshop, or do you collect as many chains as you can first?
One of the better modes, "Protect the Pimp," is another team-based affair. One team has to protect a weaponless pimp, trying to get him out of the building alive. The other team has to mow said pimp down.
The weakest of the four modes is co-op. This should have been the strongest, but is sadly cut down by only two scenarios that you and a buddy can play. You are up against a barrage of CPU-controlled bad guys, and that’s about it. It just doesn't hold water.
The true standout here is "Blinged Out Ride." Each team must upgrade their car three times, and get it to the rally point in one piece before the rival team can. This mode has the most strategy, and is the most rewarding of the online modes.
You can also create your own gang, very similar to setting up a clan. This facilitates finding team-based games more quickly, as you are not just hopping in with people you do not know.

My brother can't seem to put this game down. He traded in Oblivion for it. Much better than GTA.

the game is spectacular9i have beat it 100%).i like the game alot it is a game you can still play even after you beat it.but sadly the ending if horrable.you go meet the chif of police on a boat that has a boam that juleus put on it(but your guy does not know about it). then he calls his thugs out. right when you get ready for a big fight you here a bepping.then booooooooom.the boat is split in half and no one that was on the deck is to be found(not even you).then you listen to the creadets and all that.then you are foced to load your last save. which is a bad ending(personaly it should have let you be able to roam with the game beaten). that is one of the few downers to this game.so do u think that is a good ending or do you agree with me!?????
