The Xbox 360's Dashboard has some rough spots.
The Xbox 360's Operating System, otherwise known as the Xbox Dashboard, is a vast improvement over what the original Xbox had. The four "Blades" are organized pretty well. There are, however, a few things that should be improved. I don't see why they cannot upgrade the Xbox Dashboard like they upgraded the original Xbox. There have already been small updates to the Xbox Dashboard since Nov. 22, 2005 - but I am proposing some major overhauls in terms of usability.…

Um, no, that's really a perk, nothing more. The content is still free. You're paying for a unified online service for multi-player.

If you didnt know already, go to the system blade, then console settings then startup, you can set it to go to dashboard or run a disc on startup.

Yes, but this was written in January 2006, and at that time, turning auto load off was not an option.
Thankfully Microsoft listens to suggestions. I can't wait for the May update, lots of nice stuff in it.

I have silver and I do not get any of the advertisements on the xbox dashboard. My friend used to have silver, and even when he did have silver, he had the advertisements. Does anyone know how to get the advertisements?

hey, go to console settings and switch off auto load to game. it works better than getting a 40$ remote
