I don't know a thing about either of the games, but Sudoku Challenge! sounds like your run-of-the-mill sudoku game. We've already had plenty of those, but will the Grand Sudoku mode be enough to differentiate this game from the rest? It might be. Then again, it's only 500 Wii points, so it's not overpriced for what it is.
As for Boingz, it certainly has a cutesy sound to it, but if it can deliver some good puzzle action, it might have promise. though it's not mentioned, Boingz was developed by Ninjabee, who you might know for Cloning Clyde or Outpost Kaloki on Xbox Live Arcade. Some of the previews I've read on this have been positive, so let's hope that Boingz can live up to what it's supposed to be.

Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure (Sega Genesis, 1 player, Rated E for Everyone-Comic Mischief, 800 Wii Points): In this top pick from the Sega Genesis, play as Boogerman, the heroic alter ego of Snotty Ragsdale. While investigating Professor Stinkbaum's lab, Boogerman stumbles upon a strange machine that opens a portal to another dimension. Boogerman has a nose for adventure, but has he met his match in this sticky situation? Journey through dangerous worlds while battling wicked enemies like Fly Boy and Deodor Ant. Deal them a blow with Boogerman's super abilities: pick and flick with deadly precision, belch, and use his deadly signature stomp.
Ah, Boogerman. A silly, yet at the same time fun platformer from Interplay way back in the day. I remember this coming out on the Super Nintendo and getting to play it a bit there. I've never played the Genesis version, though, so I'm not sure if there's a huge difference between the two. Based on my Super Nintendo experiences with this, though, I'd recommend it.
Boogerman is debuting first on the North American Virtual Console. It, along with Boingz and Sudoku Challenge!, is currently available for download off the Wii Shop Channel.
Check back next week for the latest round of releases for the Wii. Until then, happy gaming!
