This week on the Nintendo download services, we've got demos! Lots and lots of demos! Also, there's a penguin herding game and the Virtual Console returns in time for Thanksgiving.
This week's games are as follows:
On DSiWare this week, we have Tetris Party Live (Tetris Online, 1-4 players, 500 DSi Points), Supermarket Mania (G5 Entertainment AB, 1 player, 500 DSi Points) and Music On: Electric Guitar (Abylight, 1 player, 200 DSi Points). Tetris Party Live is another online Trtris game, this time for the DSi. Supermarket Mania is another one of those management titles, except this time, you manage up to five supermarket stores. Music On: Electric Guitar is the latest in the series of musical education games under the Music On name, this one focusing on the electric guitar, obviously.
WiiWare has one title and four demos this week: Snowpack Park (Nintendo, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) and demos of And Yet It Moves, Bit. Trip Fate, Jett Rocket and ThruSpace (all 1 player, free). Snowpack Park sends players out to corral penguins inside a park after they've been scattered across nearby islands. The demos are ... well, demos of current WiiWare titles. About time we got them.
And the Virtual Console's back, too, with Spin Master (Neo Geo, 1-2 players, 900 Wii Points). Spin Master is a side-scrolling action game with treasure hunters inspired by another classic game, Joe and Mac.
Spin Master debuted on the Japanese Virtual Console in August and on the PAL Virtual Console last week. It, along with Snowpack Park and the demos, is available for download off the Wii Shop Channel, while Tetris Party Live, Supermarket Mania and Music On: Electric Guitarare available for download off the DSi Shop Channel.
Check back next week for the latest round of digital releases for the Wii and DSi. Until then, happy gaming!
