  Chris Benoit is DEFINATELY NOT going to be in the game due to the circumstances surrounding his death. That was a request from the WWE and his family.
  
  Confirmed appearances: Batista, Lashley, Carlito, Chavo, Finlay, Helms, Hardcore Holly, Jeff Hardy, Cena, Nitro (not as John Morrison), JTG, Kane, Kenny Dykstra, King Booker (no Sharmell), Marcus Cor Von, Mark Henry, Matt, MVP, Mr Kennedy, Orton, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, Sandman, Shad, HBK, Snitsky, Khali, Tommy Dreamer, Triple H, Unaga, Undertaker, William Regal, Ashley, Candice, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Melina, Michelle McCool and Torrie.
  
  Legends include: Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Rick Rude, Roddy Piper, Sabu, Steve Austin, Terry Funk and the Rock. It's also rumored for Andre the Giant and Sgt Slaughter, but not for all versions.
  
  Also, it appears that most of the popular/current superstars WON'T appear - Deuce & Domino, Boogeyman, Big Daddy V, Santino Marella, Cade, Murdoch, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, The Miz, Haas & Benjamin, Matt Striker, Hornswoggle, Kevin Thorn, Jamie Noble, Cody Rhodes, Jim Duggan, Shannon Moore, Funaki, Nunzio, Cherry, Jimmy Wang Yang, Victoria, Brett & Brian Major, The Highlanders, Mike Knox, Layla, or the other girl from Extreme Expose (I think that's all).
  
  Fingers crossed that they make them available to purchase in the WWE Shop (if this feature is included in the new game).

  As an addendum to my last comment, it would be good if there will be more preset moves and entrances (more recent than the ones that they included in SVR07; ie. entrances and moves for wrestlers not included in the game, but at the same time for the recent wrestlers; not old ones like Rhyno, Tajiri, AJ Styles, Jake Roberts, Brock Lesnar, Kevin Nash - and there should be more than 19 entrances or 25 movesets)
  
  Plus it would be awesome to have the return of being able to use your own entrance music (on the hard-drive) and create a tag-team entrance. They should also have a triple Tag-team match (eg, Hardy Boys vs Cade & Murdoch vs Deuce & Domino).

  im the biggest wrestling fan in the world i think you should put goldberg razor ramone diezel and put better caw on like dickies sean jean rock a wear in plus add some celebreties that have been on wrestling in the past year and put some wcw nwo and tna wrestlers then the game would be awesome thats what the people whant put road dogg in billy gunn goldust vader owen hart ahmed johnson and put brock lenar in it to and like in smack down just bring it you can walk around on season mode and talk to people you should put that on and let the people write their own stuogh to somebody i love wrestling

  I think that you should havemostof the things people put on here but on 1 it said put hornswoggle on smackdown when he is on raw I mean he is mr. mcmahon's illegentamite child plus TNA sucks there way different from the wwe and I already know how the cover of it looks like John Cena on the left Undertaker in the middle, Bobby Lashley on the right then it sais Smackdown vs. RAW o8 featuring ECW and if you have an inferno match how is the fire going to look like especially when the superstar catches on fire and this is to Vince why did you change the name of the WWF I mean I know about the world wild life FEDERATION but why did you take there CRAP come on you are toughour than that right.piece out LOLY POP

  why dosen't the game of boogeyman who is in 2007 or jamie nobel or deuce and domnio or kendrick nd london they where champs for a long time and speaking of that where is cade and murdoch? The miz been in wwe for some time now and where is sharemll kevin thorn or hacksaw jim duggan whos been in the wwe for over 20 years? But in all seriousness the people who made the game put alot of effort not with the characters but the iteams finishers and the way they play... does umaga have the samoan spike?

  even though the game smackdown vs raw 2008 is good they should add Andre the giant , Hulk Hogan, undertaker of 2003 and all that stuff and though the game grapics are good they should make it better
