Screenshots: Spec Ops: The Line and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Part of: Screenshots

Today we bring to you news and pictures of not one, but two new games, and they're both linked by the theme of sand.

First up, eventually (after November 1, 2010) 2K is going to release Spec Ops: The Line.  It's a third person military shooter that takes place in Dubai.  Within the narrative of the game, sandstorms have practically destroyed Dubai. The U.S. Army has received a distress signal from some missing soldiers that were sent there to protect those who remained during the storms. You're going in to save those folks and taking your Delta Force team with you.  Here are the pics we currently have for Spec Ops: The Line.

And then there's the latest entry into a franchise I've been following ever since I was a wee lad, Prince of PersiaPrince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is due out in May of 2010 and is the next entry in "The Sands of Time" series.  It actually will take place between the first entry in the storyline, The Sands of Time and the next, Warrior Within.  And, from these pics, it looks pretty impressive.
