Screenshots: Need for Speed Hot Pursuit

If you're even remotely aware of the gaming world, you know full well that in Los Angeles this week the massive gaming expo, E3, is taking place.  It breaks this reviewer's little gaming heart that he's not there.  He wanted to go, he intended to go, he contemplated going, he hoped to go, he prayed that he'd go, but he's not going.  Instead, he's had to sit here by his computer reading all the fantastic updates about what is taking place there and has had to attempt to figure out how to get their next year.

In reading said updates I think I've figured out how to make a trip to LA next year actually occur.  You know what I need?   Speed.  That's right, I have the need for speed (I already did the Top Gun thing a few weeks ago, so I won't repeat that here).

Happily for me, EA has announced that an all-new Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is coming and is being developed by Criterion Games.  The game is due out on November 16 and that means that I'll have plenty of time to practice it before next year's expo.  Plus, as the game is going to be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC (maybe even Wii too) I'll have plenty of platforms on which to give it a go.  And, it even looks pretty:
