Screenshots: Nancy Drew: Trail of the Twister

Part of: Screenshots

Do you have any idea how popular Nancy Drew is among a certain set?  It's insane.  It's ridiculous.  It's ludicrous.  And, yet it's perfectly true.  Yet, for many of us out there, Nancy Drew operates almost completely under the radar.  Furthermore, did you know that she's been around for 80 years.  80 years!  And, she still looks good.  Quite frankly, how she does it all is something of a mystery (get it, a mystery because she's a detective… we do make ourselves laugh).

But, that Nancy Drew, she is an enigma.  Here she is, 80 years old, and yet still a teenager.  We assume that has something to do with her being timeless.  That may all change though with the latest game, Nancy Drew: Trail of the Twister.  In this new title she goes undercover as a storm chaser.  We're told that the teams in the storm chasing competition all have a chance at winning 100,000,000 dollars.  Now, whether or not she solves the mystery, shouldn't she be retiring once she wins the competition.  We certainly would (no donating that money to orphans for us).

Nancy Drew Trail of the Twister is currently available on PC and Mac.

The Nancy Drew series of PC games are fantastic! Non-violent (except for a few jumps!), empowering, brainy and an enjoyable point-and-click experience. I've played nearly all of them as my now teenage daughter was growing up. Btw, that tornado in your screenshot is downright frightening. Love to see more games like Nancy Drew!

The Nancy Drew games are really fun but I'm amazed that they are for ages 10 and up - I'm 25 and my sister and I have a hard time figuring out the puzzles :)
