One thing people can't get enough of -- whether it's in books, film, or videogames -- are stories of the Mafia. Death, power, money, intrigue: the tales (whether true or not) can be fascinating and coming early next year the videogame world is going to see a new one. 2K's Mafia II is coming and it's coming with an engine specifically created for the game.
The storyline revolves around Vito, who was born the son of a poor immigrant and turned into a petty criminal. Vito – along with his good buddy Joe – venture into the seedy world of 1940s/50s' organized crime and make their way up the ranks… if they live that long. Mafia II is due out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in early 2010.
