PlayStation Network Update: 11/24/2009

Sorry for the late update folks, we forget up here in the frozen north of Canada that the US has Thanksgiving this week and that meant an early update!

A great week on the good old PSN with deals, games, minis, and more! There is a big fall sale on some great PSN titles, so now is the best time to get some games you may have passed on before. Of note is a sale on the Killzone 2 DLC, Flower, Bomberman Ultra and Prince of Persia Classic.

Three new games make their appearance this week -- Gravity Crash, Diner Dash, and Madden NFL Arcade. Not many of them are quite my cup of tea, but lots of people were looking forward to Madden NFL Arcade in particular.

The PSP gets a treat with a number of PSOne classics that work on the PS3 and PSP. Command and Conquer and Dino Crisis stand out as great titles to add to your library. The PSP also has a number of new minis and two full games in the form of LittleBigPlanet PSP and Tekken 6 PSP. Both of these games are huge additions and some of the new minis look great as well.

Plenty of add-on content too this week, the biggest of which being the zombie themed DLC for one of my favorite games this year, Borderlands. Borderlands Zombie Island DLC or Dr.Ned's Zombie Island promises humor, gore, and some great new weapons! We also have DLC for Dragon Ball, Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, and LittleBigPlanet. Now if anyone downloads the 5 DOLLAR t-shirt for LBP (labeled rare...really?) I will hunt you down as you deserve to lose your PS3 in shame.
