I may be in the minority, but this week holds nothing of interest for me, but it is a huge week for a PSN exclusive game.
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation is finally out and having participated in the Beta (and lost interest almost immediately once I was finally able to get in-game) I know I am not buying this one.
We FINALLY get another PS1 classic and it is a crappy game no one has played/heard of, Sno-Cross Championship Racing, seriously? What is Sony thinking releasing this?
Add-on content is painful yet again this week, we have another ludicrously priced Tiger Woods course and a new expansion for The Eye Of Judgment. I really enjoyed EoJ when it came out, but have a huge issue paying for an expansion that is useless without then paying for physical cards... seems really chintzy to me. I was hoping they would finally add a campaign as an add-on, I would buy that in a heartbeat. We also, of course, have the new Rock Band tracks for your listening/playing pleasure, this week it is Dr. Feelgood by Mötley Crüe
We have the now available to all Motorstorm: Pacific Rift demo, I will be checking this out, it is supposed to be quite good. We have a number of videos looking at LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, wipEout HD, Eternal Sonata, Far Cry 2, Guitar Hero World Tour and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm.
Finally there are themes for Valkyria Chronicles, Silent Hill Homecoming, Eternal Sonata and a premium theme - Saw Legacy as well as wallpapers for Silent Hill Homecoming and Eternal Sonata.
Overall by many this will be viewed as a great week, I personally find it a little disappointing, the PS1 classic is useless and SOCOM is not my cup of tea. Any thoughts anyone? Deets are below:
