Well the gravy train finally had to end, no full games this week, but there are a lot of demos and add-on content (some ridiculously priced).To start it off there is a free NBA Live 09 update for the new expansion team the Oklahoma City Thunder. We have NBA Live 365 which looks to be the Metal Gear Database for basketball fans, giving you an incredibly detailed look at the sport and the players all season long. We also have the Rock Band updates features the Chili Peppers album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, which has been neutered to suit a T rating, we discussed this at length on our podcast this week.Now on to the insultingly price DLC, we have the Firestone Country Club course for Tiger Woods 09 at a ludicrous $7.49, considering this was in LAST YEARS version it is a slap in the face to people who purchase this franchise. Next are the weapon packs for Soul Caliber IV at $3.99 EACH, I am not sure who is pricing this stuff, but considering they are unlockable in-game, this has to stop.On the demo front we have demos for Eternal Sonata (really excited for this game), NBA 2K9, Beijing 2008 (Blech), Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway and the highly anticipated Bioshock for PS3. A great week for trying out games, even though I have finished Bioshock on the Xbox 360, I still may get the PS3 version.Multimedia wise we have the very cool and atmospheric PixelJunk Eden soundtrack at $2.99 (that is well priced DLC).
