Ok, yes, this is a huge update with demos and media and add-ons and such and that is great, but Sony just proved point #5 in my recent article: 5 things the PSN needs to address to stay relevant. They have only added the Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus (blech) expansion pack on the North American store as original content and it is a cross-platform title. The European store, which normally gets the short end of the stick, received Dark Mist, A relatively simple but fun action RPG.
Ah well, can't complain much. We did receive demos for Overlord Raising Hell and Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit as well as some well priced Hot Shots Golf characters. We also see the mandatory new Rock Band tracks as well as another giant pile of Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore Downloadable Songs.
On the multimedia front we have the always appreciated videos for NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm and MK vs DCU, as well as trailers for Pineapple Express and Saawariya. Themes and desktops for Haze, Overlord: Raising Hell and Echochrome round out the list of free content.
Lots to enjoy but I would still like to see some more games released on the PSN to the rabid North American fanbase.
