Not many original games this week, but plenty of content to enhance your existing library. The one new game is the PSN version of Wheel of Fortune, designed similarly to the Jeopardy game, Wheel of Fortune features single and multiplayer options. We also see this week a limited time price drop on Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty! This was already a great deal at 15 dollars, there is no excuse not to have this game any longer.
Add-ons abound this week, some free and some for a fee. More LittleBigPlanet costume/sticker packs, this time looking at Killzone 2. I keep hoping we will get a level pack, but no such luck. A trick shot pack for High Velocity Bowling is offered for free as is a NCAA Basketball 09 Bracket Pack update. I love seeing free roster updates in sports games, really extends the experience.
There are three huge premium content updates this week, the first is the huge Titan Pack update for Unreal Tournament 3, offered for the amazing price of free. Not sure if anyone still plays the game, but the pack offers maps, skins, new modes and a new Titan powerup in multiplayer. The second is the Midnight Club: Los Angeles - South Central packs. The South Central area is offered, amazingly, for free, but you need to pay 10 dollars for a second pack which only gives you three luxury cars. Pricing on that one just seems illogical. Finally, the map pack for Call of Duty: World at War is here featuring some new multiplayer maps and zombie modes. Nothing too surprising in this pack, but it is sure to please CoD fans.
There is a new Pain pack called the Smack Pack, offering some new game types for the off the wall title. More Street Fighter 4 costumes are joined by a Trivial Pursuit question pack and Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore 2 song updates. A big demo is on hand with Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition available in playable form. I'm downloading it as we speak, I am really looking forward to this on the PS3.
