This week will henceforth be called "add-on" week! There's only one new game available, in the form of Watchmen: The End is Nigh. This game is at a very high price point and is not getting rave reviews. It is a shame; it's a great universe, the graphics look amazing but the gameplay is absent. Thankfully there is a demo to help you decide whether it is worth the price of Burnout Paradise.
Add-ons are the bulk of this update, with an epilogue for Prince of Persia as the highlight of the week. This additional chapter furthers the gameplay and adds more to the ending of the hit game. We also see the Toy Cars for Burnout Paradise, these tiny cars are replicas of the full sized cars and add a hilarious new perspective to the game.
We have yet another free Naruto pack and two additional High Velocity Bowling characters, thus giving us our good and the bad comparison of the week. Another useless Skate 2 pack and more Street Fighter IV costumes are also marginal additions to the PSN. Finally we have the obligatory Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracks.
Since I love to try before I buy, the three demos are very appreciated. Demos for Watchmen: The End is Nigh, Age of Booty, and Wanted: Weapons of Fate are presented for your gaming pleasure. All of them are queued up, hoping Wanted is at least some fun. On the PSP front their is a full download of Killzone Liberations, a great title that further enhances the Killzone universe.
Finally we have videos for many games and movies as well as some new themes and wallpapers. Below is a list of all the items added to this week's PSN update. For more details, please visit the official PlayStation Blog.
