After the extremely minimal entry last week we have a packed store for you PlayStation fans this week. The big update is the long awaited Savage Moon, a futuristic tower defense game that has a Starship Troopers vibe (in a good way). A not so good addition is the addition of Bejeweled 2, I know it is a classic, but with Lumines Supernova and Puzzle Quest on the PSN, plain old Bejeweled just doesn't cut it anymore.
Lots of add-on content, more bad then good unfortunately. There are many, many LittleBigPlanet costumes, all overpriced and without levels. Seriously Media Molecule, what are you thinking? We have a severely overpriced Skate 2 "filmer pack" and two more characters for Disgaea 3. At least we have some free content, I suppose, although it is made up of a really bad Groundhog Day LBP costume and a pack for the below average Lord of the Rings Conquest game. The shining light this week is the free Time Trial map for Mirror's Edge.
There are the standard Rock Band and Guitar Hero updates as well as some more Karaoke Revolution songs. Not really my thing, but I am sure many people are loving the Grateful Dead (Rock Band) and Oasis (Guitar Hero) tracks.
Lots of media to peruse as well, of note in the Game Videos section is the must see trailer for Final Fantasy XIII! There are also some some full length making of features for the new new 'Hulk vs.' Marvel animated features.
