PC Review: Evidence - The Last Ritual - Page 2

Sometimes you’ll even be mocked by The Phoenix himself, though his e-mails are generally far more lack luster then one would expect from a diabolical genius.

Presentation means everything to Evidence and were it not for the high production values the game wouldn’t be nearly as enthralling. All the videos the killer has left you look legit and are guaranteed to send a chill down your spine.

Music, albeit very simple, is incredibly haunting and will fill you with an unparalleled sense of fear and impending doom.

Sadly Evidence isn’t a prefect game and does have some noticeable flaws. Most of the game’s text is very small and is almost unreadable if you have a high desktop resolution and given the amount of subtly in the game, you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss a word.

One also has to wonder how the game’s Google based web searching challenges will stand up to the test of time. After all failure links to President Bush’s bio at Whitehouse.gov.

Evidence: The Last Ritual breaks the mould of normal point and click adventure games and it does so with an unrivaled level of style. The game is not like anything you’ll have ever experienced - unless you played Missing: Since January, but that’s what makes it special. If you love to be challenged and you think you’re smart, you owe it to yourself to check this game out.

Evidence: The Ritual is rated M (Mature) by the ESRB for Blood, Strong Language and Violence.

    Filled with typos...
Music, albeit very simple, in incredibly haunting

then typo in the last line, leaves out "last"

read over your stuff before publishing, really....

Hey Ugh. We do. I read over my work and Ken does an excellent job of editing. If you think this typo is bad try taking a look at the fine editing IGN does. They don't even get their faccts straight.

So I missed an "is" which is now corrected. That's a really glaring mistake. Also, where in the world would "last" go, in the last line - which I can only assume you mean sentence.

But I am glad you read the review, and hope you enjoyed it. But it is hardly "filled with typos."

Ugh, if you can't be bothered to hit the Shift key to capitalize your sentences, keep your grammatical and editorial comments to yourself. Pettiness is a very, very ugly quality, but so much the worse when coupled with hypocrisy.

He meant in the very last line:
Evidence: The Ritual is rated M (Mature) by the ESRB for Blood, Strong Language and Violence.

You forgot Last in the title of the game.

The lyrics are haunting indeed. Who wrote them? I've got conflicting info. :/ Where can I get the entire soundtrack?

    still has some typos!

"Sadly Evidence isn't a prefect game"

    what you mean is "perfect"

"given the amount of subtly in the game"

    what you mean is "subtlety"
