Oh, and you can’t skip cut-scenes. Period. No matter how many times you die, you have to watch them all over again. Did I mention that?
There’s little to be happy about with Manhunt 2. It’s a game built around bloody violence, but because of the ESRB ratings issue and perhaps a rush to get a game on the Wii, the traditionally solid Rockstar delivered a clunker that deserves to be BOA’d: Bargain-binned On Arrival.
Don’t waste your time on this. Better yet, go buy Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure instead and support a game that’s not selling as well as it ought to be.
Pros: Daniel Lamb is a decent character, and the Wii remote mini-game with the Hunter is kinda cool.
Cons: Graphics look like they came from the middle of the last generation of consoles. Level designs uninspired. Game play gets incredibly boring. Mediocre storyline, at best. No gory kills. Kill motions don’t always feel natural. Cannot skip cut-scenes at all.
Manhunt 2 is rated M (Mature) by the ESRB for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content and Use of Drugs. This game can also be found on: PS2 and PSP.
