Characters grabbing jerseys and more high definition characters on the screen are among the changes being brought this year, along with even more detail to the faces of each player. A short clip from Jikkyou Pawafuru Major League 2 is shown, and guess what? This one is making the jump acorss the Pacific. 2K Games is publishing the title for the PS2 and Wii, where it'll be known as MLB Power Pros. It's about time! Powerpuro-Kun Pocket 10 for Nintendo DS also gets shown, along with its mini-games.
— And now, it's on to the Bemani rhythm game series, which is comprised of Beatmania, Pop 'n' Music, Guitar Freaks, Dance Dance Revolution and Drum Mania. Konami's Yoshihiko Ota, the man behind all of these rhythm games, mentions that it's the tenth anniversary of the Bemani series, so there will probably be some special anniversary game or something like that, since gaming companies like to do that. Ota talks about how U.S. schools, like those in West Virginia, are integrating DDR into their physical education programs and how it is still selling very well. About a million units a year well.
