Sony Releases More PS2 "Greatest Hits" Titles
While no official announcement has been made on Sony's official site, five more first-party best-selling titles have been re-printed for sale under the company's "Greatest Hits" label.
Shadow of the Colossus, SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy Seals, Jak X: Combat Racing, Ratchet: Deadlocked, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves join the list of red-labeled games this week — quite an impressive lot for only $19.99 a piece. The re-releases should be available in stores soon.
Nintendo Launches Site for Upcoming Mario Hoops for DS
Nintendo recently launched a preview website for Mario's next sports endeavor — basketball. Not content on owning the courts in the GameCube version of NBA Street Vol. 3, Mario and his extended crew are looking to tear up the asphalt on the go with Mario Hoops: 3-on-3.
The game was recently released in Japan and is slated for a September 11 release in the United States. The website will be periodically releasing preview videos and screenshots while it counts down to the release of the game.
