Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure was the winner of MTV’s Video Music Award, taking the trophy for the ceremony’s first ever best video game soundtrack category. Released in February, the game contained a number of licensed and original tracks from artists such as Fort Minor, Jane’s Addiction, The RZA and many more.
On the other end, however, the company has received notification from NASDAQ that it has failed to maintain a common stock closed at $1.00 per share or more for a minimum of 10 consecutive business days prior to Aug. 30. As a result, Atari has received a staff determination letter from the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Department and its common stock is subject to delisting from the NASDAQ Global Market.
Atari has responded by requesting a hearing before the panel and will submit its plan of compliance. It is expected the hearing will be held in approximately 25 to 45 days.

Midway recently announced it has teamed with GameSpot to hold "The Ultimate Mortal Kombat Fanatic" contest.
The contest asks fans to create a short film demonstrating why they are the ultimate fan of Mortal Kombat. The films will be hosted on GameSpot, which also judge the entries following the Oct. 6 deadline to enter.
The grand prize winner will be flown to GameSpot’s offices in San Francisco to challenge Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon himself at the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. When Armageddon releases, the grand prize winner, as well as three runner-ups, will win a copy of the game autographed by Ed Boon.
Entries will be accepted starting Sept. 18 and those submitting entries must be at least 18 years of age to qualify.
