Microsoft's 5,000th Patent
Microsoft's 5,000th patent will claims that an online spectator mode will be implemented into future Xbox 360 titles. This spectator mode will allow gamers, not involved in the gameplay, to view highlights and instant replays. There will also be the option to control the camera perspectives while watching a game being played. Microsoft left a statement saying "A portal such as a Web site to access spectator-related services such as schedules and information on multiple games and events as well as the number of spectators and participants in each.
